Just an fyi, we have two black silgranite sinks by Blanco that were installed in 2012. Granted, they are BLACK, so staining has not been an issue, we do not wipe them down after every use, and I am very happy with them. I would buy them again. But having read this thread and Ashley's comments, I would not buy a lighter colored version. These sinks are pretty inexpensive compared to the cost of the kitchen as well as some other sinks. At this point in your journey @Kendal Jean, why not just replace it and move on to enjoy your new kitchen? Once you remove the sink you won't have the daily reminder of your horrible experience dealing with Blanco.

My husband installed our fridge (with icemaker) two days ago in our newly built home (due to move in there in a few days). Builder came to install mirrors and heard hissing as he opened the interior garage door. Saw water on the hardwood. The plastic tubing from the icemaker was off and water was spraying. Will need new carpeting (incl padding, subfloor, hardwood, drywall, lower cabinets, stair railing and newels, door frames to the pantry and laundry room, and probably new tile in the laundry room. Brand new GE fridge delivered the day before it was installed. Husband has installed fridges before without issue, not sure if they had this type of tubing. A friend found this online: We bought a Samsung fridge about a year ago. The model number is RB215LABP. The problem we have been having is that the tube in the back where you hook it up to the water for the ice machine, keeps blowing off the back. We don't know how to fix it. Several times, I have come home from work to find an inch of water all over my floors because it's blown off and been that way all day. My husband has reattached it, turned the water pressure on the valve down and still, it continues to blow off the back. The hose seems to be the right size...I don't know what the problem is. Please help. Tags Refrigerators , Samsung , Appliances 2 Answers from these members: Manage My Life The reason the tubing blows out of the inlet tube in the cabinet is the inlet tube is freezing up and then the pressure builds up and blows the tubing out of the inlet. Usually the thing that causes the tube to freeze is the water valve seeps water when it should be turned off. This slow trickle of water freezes as it enters the freezer and stops up the inlet tube. Not sure what caused this (yet). Hopefully the insurance through our mortgage bank will take care of it asap. The carpet is thoroughly soaked. Water ran down the walls of the open stairway to the basement, wood in basement ceiling dripping water, basement flooded, etc. Merry Christmas! :(

So Anderson rep came here and squeaking door when rolled was solved by spraying pledge on top where rubber rubs. Until it wears down. New door, that is unacceptable. Didn’t even offer to spray pledge. Lock on wrong side. Rep says if you go outside it’s on the right. Problem is all the other doors ordered came with the lock on right side looking from the interior. Sliding door sticks says its because I the floor isn’t level but I said the previous defective door glided just fine. This is the 4th door they had 2 extra panels for me to choose from on the truck in case it came damaged which it did. Bottom line is Anderson quality is garbage. Parts don’t match black door rep said they are just getting black doors figured out. Their warranty is useless excuse for everything.

We have had ongoing problems with this business. We ordered over $35,000 in draperies and shades last May and are still waiting for several items. One fabric was promised for November, arrived in January, and although completed, they could not schedule installation until mid‑April, 3 months after the fabric arrived. The excuse is they need two installers and don’t have an open time until mid-April. We had expected it all to be done before the end of 2025. We now have 5 huge boxes they expect us to store for a month with 4 more being delivered tomorrow. For two of the three rooms, they delivered the first set of valences badly bubbled. We were later told the fabric was unsuitable, though this was never disclosed upfront. The company agreed to remake them at no cost, but the replacements—completed weeks ago—were supposed to be run horizontally to avoid seams and instead they came in running vertically with seams. They are now redoing the valences for a third time. And though these are also finished and have been delivered, they do not have installers to install them. I would never recommend this company. It isn’t the salespersons’ fault but the production team and installation team have repeatedly dropped the ball. We have been waiting over 9 months to have this completed, and much of the delay was their fault. You would think they would make this a priority and just find a way to get it done. And though these are also finished they cannot seem to find the installers to install them now. I would never recommend this company. Upper management should be able to remedy this before the 1st of April when our company arrives. I have written to upper management but have not had great results. It is still scheduled at the beginning and end of the second week of April. Why they can’t hire the installers to do this prior is not making any sense and given our patience at this point they should be bending over backwards. They have a strict policy of requiring full payment upfront - now I know why. DO NOT USE THEM.
