'Rozanne' is a sprawler - 24" in height is on the generous side, as it doesn't exactly mound or form a distinct shape but rather weaves or rambles over and through neighboring plants. Perfectly happy in full sun (with adequate moisture) to partial shade and ordinary garden soil.

I used Power Air Systems of Ridgewood to install a Trane system and all of the ductwork. Unfortunately, one year after the system was installed, we're having major problems with the air handler and the condenser. We are having worse problems with getting a response from Dave and Power Air Systems. Monday it will be 1 month since our original call to them for service and we still have no A/C. They've made 3 trips to our house and are never able to fix anything because they don't have what they need on the truck. To make matters worse, I've taken 5 different days off of work to wait on them when they haven't shown up, they rarely answer the phone and it took calling Trane customer service to intervene to get them to show up. Yesterday, when they came, they again didn't fix anything because they didn't have the nitrogen to test the system for a freon leak. Even worse, to support the drain pan that buckled under the weight of all of the water from the last time they had me turn on the system that wasn't working, they took landscaping blocks from my yard and scrap wood to try and get it to drain rather than actually fixing the problem. Now I am stuck with Power Air Systems since I'm told the issues are related to the installation and not the equipment. Today it's over 90 degrees inside our house and we have no A/C. I can honestly say I have never witnessed worse customer service than what I'm experiencing with Power Air Systems. In the end, we will end up filing complaints with Trane, every agency and every website I can find to help other people avoid doing business with these guys. In the meantime, I hope anyone considering installing A/C reads this post and avoids Dave and his company.

First question -- if you're redoing the kitchen (and I presume that includes cabinets, etc and possibly layout reshuffling) why are you starting with tile? Also, are you sure that tile is the way you ultimately want to go? There's lots of other potential choices in a kitchen reno, and it might help to understand the whole game plan before locking yourself in with such a permanent choice. I would worry that your later reno work might either require you to fill-in/patch or god help us rip it up. And it's not like paint, where it's easy to change. Second, you can check here for tradesmen recommendations, but I'd look into the neighborhood grapevine first. In my town (south orange) there is a vocal and active community website with lots of bulletin boards to discuss happy/not happy experiences with contractors. That helped me greatly in finding a gc. I'd think the same thing with tile. Also check the thread about winkwink's "professional" tile job, which might give you a scare but force you to see your potential tile candidate's actual installations
