Me too! I discussed it with hubby, we lowered the price for the showing tomorrow and offered an incentive.. hopefully the agent will pass it along.

If nothing comes of it, I'll grab a cabinet / buffet type piece then finish staging the kitchen.

btw, I'm looking for something like this or this. The 2nd is my favorite but it's too short. I'm not nuts about white on the 1st one but it's too wide. This is the one I will most likely order as I'm getting tired of looking & it will fit. It's for the left of the microwave if anyone remembers it, it looks like a fridge should go there. I need something.

BTW where is your fridge in your kitchen? I don't remember seeing one. Do you have a pantry?

In the opening maybe you could just put shelves below the upper cabinet and kind of continue the upper cabinet depth all the way down and tie in with the shelf below it. Or a cabinet like some of these with doors so it could show you could use the space as a pantry.

roselvr - Since you have a pretty large kitchen, how about using a kitchen cart/island in that empty place, one with wheels that will look like it can be pulled wherever you need it for an island.

I love www.homedecorators.com. I've ordered a number of things from them over the years and have been very happy with everything. We even had to cancel an outstanding order (had been ordered for almost 2 months - we were all waiting on the supplier to get the rug to homedecorators) - they were great about cancelling with no problems or penalties.

A better birthday present would be a sold house! But a new one is good too :)

Rose, I like the two wooden cabinets. Don't care for the white one at all as it doesn't appear to fit your style. Too bad the 2nd one is too small as I like that one best.

BTW, I had a maple country suite buffet/hutch much like the one you're thinking of buying. I finally sold it on Craigslist.

Its funny the cart you mentioned from JCP is the one I was drawn too as well. Didn't see it was out of stock though.

roselvr, I went back and looked at the pics you posted months ago. Where do you keep your fridge? It definitely looks like one belongs there. Why don't you just move it there until you sell. I know I'd be wondering why it wasn't there. Too small? Outlet doesn't work? As a looker I'd be asking those questions.

Susan, the space is only 55 inches tall, my fridge won't even fit there.

I've been looking all day for a cabinet online, have a few picked out. When we redo the photos for the kitchen, we will take a pic of where the fridge actually is which is across from the built in freezer if you remember where that was. It's right next to the stove.

Ah, yes. It makes sense now. Perhaps a little writing desk would work there. Many kitchens have one built-in.
