Comments (8)I've spent many a night agonizing over the same things. I wanted a really deep blue with a little touch of emerald. I here that is impossible. The Tahoe blue is pretty, but too light. The most common one around my area seems to be tropical blue either mixed in plaster or a marquis finish. We have decided to go with black. I'm hoping for the best. The actually color is Neirobi in a mini pebble style. I'm still trying to figure out my coping and I am driving my builder crazy with phone call. I am worried if I get flagstone it will have too much of an orange tone to it as to keep down cost, we are just taking what the local rock yard has. I am worried that if I go with white tones it will look ugly against such a dark pool color. It is much more stressful than I planned. I think I'm going to go with a neutral brown, tan, black tile. I am leaning towards stamped concrete coping to look more like a natural area. Good luck to you....See Morefinally cut a deal on the pebble tec
Comments (7)I built this unit a few years ago and just stumbled on a folder of pool pic's from back then. I don't think it had the mother of pearl mixed in it. I really had forgotten about this unit until I saw it about 8 pools into the folder. The pic's don't really show the attributes of the pool. Multi leveled with for/aft beam placement with hand cut stacked stone, fountains and descents gave a great pool look. But the deck was to die for, 3 men spent 3 days at the shop cutting squares and rectangles of random sizes to come in and lay over the entire concrete decking and the covered back porch with a plasma TV, surround sound, and a fireplace. The owner is a custom home builder in The Woodlands I interact with. I also have pebble in my pool and my daughters have always worn water shoes, the boys and I don't have a problem with it. When you purchase a Pebble Technologies product buy the Tec for the look and the Sheen for the feel, stay away from the Fina. I'll look for some more Midnight Blue pic's when I get a chance. Comments (15)Wow, I think these photos are great, and they really do confirm what I saw today...that this is a pretty deep color, especially in shade. can't-wait-to-swim, I would love to see some of your other photos, especially ones in sunlight (my pool is in sun most of the day) and with moving water. I sent you an email, or you could post them here, so everyone could check them out. THANK YOU!!! When I compared side-by-side photos of the Tahoe Blue pool and the Majestic Plum pool I saw in person this afternoon, the clear difference was that the Tahoe blue water has a greener tint, and the Majestic Plum is a cooler tone, a little "icy" looking, if that makes sense. Let me see if I can figure out how to post photos here, and I'll show them side by side. These 2 colors are really close...PebbleTec corporate told my pool company is is basically Tahoe, with a grayer water tone. Dead on....See MorePool Light makes the Pebble Tec water color....
Comments (2)Ooops, sorry, I mistyped some parts. Here we go again: Just got our pool light working since we moved into this old house years ago, and wow, that light totally illuminates the pool. My question is, what color does it make your Pebble Tec look like at night? We are getting Pebble Tec next week in a gutsy color (Majestic Plum) which does not look purple in the daylight with the sun (the water goes grey/teal in the sun), but when I put the pool light on at night, will I notice mostly my plaster color? Will it look more like the plain Pebble Tec chip, with clear water, or will my water still carry a "tint"? I am new to this, just wondering if I am going to have a funky purple pool with the lights on! ;-)...See Moreteppy
