I am now more confused than ever about these finishes. I just spoke with a very helpful young woman at CLI and she has basically opened up new options. Apparently, cove blue pearl was a "custom color" which was requested by several customers, so they are bringing it out as a standard color. As mentioned above, the combinations of stones and plasters can be changed. You can also mix plaster/stone combinations as missy_23 did with blue pearl and black pearl. To add to the choices, another new product line called crystalstones smooth is apparently the same pebble size of sunstone pearl and could have been placed in that line, but has different colors. Unfortunately, none of these is available to see on the web and they have to send samples. When I get mine, I will try to post pictures, but even that doesn't really give us a great idea what the final pool color will be. By the way, would love to see cove blue when you get a chance. Rob

Hi kellyntexas, We are going to have Sunstone Blue Pearl too, hopefully next week. I've seen 2 pools with the finish and the water color is beautiful. I'm sure your water will change, neither of the pools I saw had a purple tint. What waterline tile did you use? I still haven't chosen tile, what I want and what I can afford are on different pages of the book :D

Try doing a search on Sunstone on this forum - several members have used it. Or, try googling "Sunstone Pearl". I came across several sites that had pics, expecially poolworksltd.com and aquavations.com. One of the pb's we had considered offered this, so I had scanned the internet for pics. It seems like a nice product - pretty stones and very smooth. Good Luck!
