Funny that you should mention this, Patti. I've been going round and round with the very same thing tonight, too! I was having trouble several weeks ago and my DD walked me through cleaning out a bunch of cookies, etc. and I could finally get in without getting a new password everytime! Now I can get in using my password but can't do anything AFTER I get in there!

Sheesh! Would you believe that I feel your pain!? LOL
All I know to tell you to do is clean up your files and maybe it'll let you in!

I don't have an answer for you but have wanted to look around on FB, but I have heard so much about trojans and viruses on there. Has your computer been infected by anything since you have been going there.

I tried that last week and it didn't help...but maybe I need to clear out history too. I don't know.

I got an email with this info in it.. not saying this is what is happening to any of you, just thought I'd mention it.

Koobface (social networking worm). It gains access to Facebook profile pages and directs you to view a video that then encourages you to update your Flash player. Malicious files such as flash_update.exe and bloivar29.exe are being downloaded and installed which results in a range of visible problems, including modifications to your Facebook profile, with the immediate result being an error message to contact support. There is also the very real potential for your identity and finances to be compromised!

Clearing out the history seemed to do it for me...It's working now for the first time in weeks.

Patti it would not accept my at first.I tried ever way you could think of.I started getting a headache working with it.I decided to walked away and came back.
It never accepted it.When I first signed up and made my password up it went thur.But when I was confirming it after I got my email and I had to click on that to finish signing up is when it would not accept my.I came back to that part and clicked on other things there,I was able to view ever thing.
Than the next day I clicked on facebook and ever thing worked fine.I never closed out.I have not tried closing facebook and signing in to see if it will accept it.I am affaid I can not get back in.See if you can click on other things on facebook to see if it will work.Let me know if it worked.I even try writing them and letting them know what was going on but never heard from them.I hope you can understand what I am trying to tell you.Did you ever get a email confirming you were in so you could click on the email part and finish it?Also you can try doing the password in little letters because that is what my sister suggested.I do not remember if the password had to so many letters.Anyway I will ask my sister what to do when it want accept the pasword.Try to email them and tell them you are having trouble.
