I wondered why no one was discussing this show over here!! :) I LOVE it! So much that I think I may need to be medicated to be able to tolerate the looooooong wait to next season. I love how artful language was in those days. I love everything about this show. Still mourning the loss of Sybil. Can't believe the cliffhanger for next season, though, Pam, I knew, too, when he was driving that car....so what about what the naysayers say about his storyline...his gorgeous eyes and that smoooooth voice. One of my faves. :( I love the meals, too! The kitchen fascinates me. My china is the one they use when the ladies are served breakfast in bed! It used to be the breakfast china in the dining room, too, but a different china seems to be used this season. I'm not one of those gals that can quote movie lines like the guys can...but when it comes to THIS show, there are so many brilliant lines...I can fire off quite a few! (Tired of James, though...and Alfred)

Speaking of watching Season ONE on Netflix........you can get one month FREE and cancel at any time. I brought my PC to the living room last weekend and treated myself to the entire Season one, and knit a great vest for myself while watching !! Bliss. I'm not sure I will want to pay the $8 monthly for Netflix but before the free month is over I will definitely watch a few old movies and British series that I had wanted to see.

Hmmm, gay. So perhaps he was looking to Edith as his cover up while he carried on with Thomas. The plot thickens. I have never seen Easy Virtue but now I will have to loo for it. I can see Talbot slowly losing his mind living at Downton under Mary's (and George's -- since we know he has no future on the stage) thumb. And how about Spratt! I knew we were in for a surprise with the advice columnist -- but Spratt? Never saw that coming. I think Branson will end up with the pretty editor.

Mimi, I've been watching "Good Behavior", too. Michelle Dockery is terrific in the leading role. She's totally believable as an American, isn't she? My favorite actress in the series, I think, was Leslie Nicol. Her performance as Mrs. Patmore was so wonderful, a real standout, in my opinion. I always knew that Thomas was redeemable and was happy to see how it ended for him. His character was very complex, and I found him to be very forgivable.
