Does anyone have a pool and dining table combo?
Comments (15)I saw a few online, but wanted to see if people who bought them actually like it. I do not have many...any sit down dinners, and we have a more than adequate breakfast nook overlooking the backyard to seat 6 people if needed, but we usually set food out and gathers are very casual. Previous house had a dining room which we furnished as a sitting room, but was not used much. was wondering if I can get more use of the space we currently have, I suspect if we put a dining table, the space will be under utilized... I have two young boys and was thinking a pool table, with a possible ping pong table that you can set on top will be more useful and if I combine that with a dining table...but wanted to see if anyone has pulled it off.. this is the one I was looking at: http://www.ozonebilliards.com/albany-7-foot-dining-pool-table-antique-brown-ozpt11ab7.html...See MoreHelp with combo kitchen, dining room and living room!
Comments (16)I think that all of your furnishings work very well in your space with the exception of the shelving unit. Is it used primarily to display pictures or is it more for storage? I think that it appears more utilitarian rather than decorative. Could it be moved to another part of the house and used for storage? If possible you could then replace it with a more attractive, functional piece. Try thrift stores or CL to look for a hutch, China cabinet, bookshelves, chest, or table. It would depend on your needs. It would give your room a more finished look. Your home is very lovely....See MoreIdeas for living room dining room combo right now

Comments (2)@3onthetree I have added full floor plans to original post -Front door is the one near the stairs. -Stairs are actually 17, if you count the 2nd floor as a step :) -9ft ceilings. -2nd story is kid zone: 4 kids bedrooms, 1 Jack & Jill bath and a playarea -Wedge for stairs measures 25" to its lowest point on the wall. (Picture below) -I'd love to put the stairs somewhere else, but can't figure where. -No basement, on slab. -I'd love to utilize that twin closet area, walls can be taken down, ceilings in both closets have the same height as the main floor....See Morewhitdobe
