I think mine is sort of pink with a glaze of some kind sponged on. This was Amber's room and she painted it while she lived here.

mine is light green, the color name is dark linen. This is the third house I used this color, cause I just like it. ;)

My carpet is jade colored, the bed spread is a lighter shade of the same green with pink flowers.

My ceiling is white and the walls are very lavender. I still love the shade after more than 3 years. The carpet is very old and is beige. I am thinking of replacing the carpet with wood laminate flooring.

My bedroom is taupe too. Some people think it's boring, but I think it's rich, but relaxing. The bathroom is a sort of sage green.

bland. It's the only room in the house I haven't painted. I will get to it, eventually. It's starting to bug me that I have taken care of every room except the one I sleep and relax in. It is a blank slate, though, nothing strange to cover up. It's the beige the whole interior was painted when the house was empty and for sale. And it's a big blank slate, it has vaulted ceilings. So when I do paint it, it's gonna take a lot of paint! And because there is so much wall space, I don't want it all the same shade. I think I want at least 2 shades of the same color, maybe the 3rd shade in the master bath.

Once, years ago, after DH and I disagreed for weeks about what color to paint one room or another, he was relating the story of our indecision to coworkers. His boss at the time gave him some "marital advice." He said "Tell her to get the paint, and you just put on the wall whatever she brings home." It was good advice! ;o)

The master bedroom and bath are both a very light purple. We have black/white toile fabric and black painted furniture and I really like it. DH was skeptical, but it likes it too.

Our house is about 4 years old, all the walls are that antique white and I'm not painting them for a while. As long as they look good and are clean I'm fine with it this way. I do think the two-tone look is nice though.

Ours is pale spruce. I picked it to go with our bedding but I really like it. I covered up a sponged on treatment and this is so much calmer and nicer looking, less busy.

I love taupe, too. And a friend of mine is having her new house done in Croissant, by Sherwin Williams. It's a sort of wheat color, looks great with her white trim.

My BR is kind of an Antique Gold. I have a very expensive Bedspread that I paid way to much far. So I felt stuck with it. Now I'm ready to go lighter and get a "machine washable bedspread because of Dogs. I'll proabley do some very pale Green or Taupe. Depends on the next Bedspread I find.

Soft sagey green, which I just love, with white trim. It's very serene and restful and I just love it. It's the same color it was when we bought the house several months ago. So are all the rooms. The people who owned it must have had very similar taste to ours.

At the old house, my bedroom has a tropical look. Walls are pale peach. I made a top border by cutting huge palm leaves from some wallpaper I found (same wallpaper on the inside stairs from the club to the apt. in the Birdcage, actually), and applying them randomly so it looks like they're hanging over the edge of a lanai roof. Bamboo shades, straw rug, green lace curtains with leaves in the lace design.

New house--walls are a light taupe, with a chair-rail height border that has tan bunnies and lots of forest green leaves. Rug is about the color of the bunnies' fur. Curtains are patchwork squares with borders of forest green fabric, and I made a Grandmother's flower garden quilt for the bed--with the same forest green outlining the flowers and as a border.

Have another bedroom that's cute--the guest room in the old house. Walls are a sunny yellow. Blue braided rug, pale blue plisse bedspread. It all works, because the window curtains and matching border are a tulip design in yellow, blue, pink and green. Sounds busier than it is, it's a really cute room.

And the 'extra' bedroom (my sewing room) at the new house is pale blue walls, with a border of patchwork quilts hanging from tree limbs. Curtains are blue with a print of bird houses on them. Gray rug. Very nice room to work in.

ours is called Egyption Green...done by the previous owners right before we moved in so I've worked with it...they painted the ceiling a pale yellow which I could do without but I put a flowered bedspread in there that has a beige background with bright french red/deep green flowers...it works...it's a popular color now so I'm leaving it...

Light sand color on the walls with snow white trim - antique cherry dressing table, amoire and bookcases, round fabric covered end tables with white lace toppers and glass, antique heavy brass bed, navy blue and/or white on fabric and lamps. I tend to leave everything else the same but will change out the fabric about every four years.

Mine is a nice shade of blue,i think it's called Ocean Blue.

"Berkshire white" on three walls, "White oak" on one and a white ceiling.
These (apartment) walls were painted white semi-gloss when I moved in. It felt so cold and uncomfortable. It took me two weeks (because of physical limitations) but I HAD to get that refrigerator shine off the walls. This is psychologically much more soothing.
