I got a condiment wallet from our sweet Flamingo! This is just so cute and such a great idea. I really do appreciate your talent and generosity.

Thank You Susan!

Maryanne, the white 'package' looks like Flamingo's 'business' card!

I love this idea - gosh, she could really sell those things - what a neat idea!!!

Finds from the Antique Mall

I ordered the 3 big fairy plaques a year ago, and surprised really how lovely they are and all three were just $14.99 of course. Gotta love Collections Etc pricing stuff this way. I also had ordered this Fairy Memorial Stone for my garden to honor my Mom's memory. Haven't yet decided where to put it, so it's inside on a shelf for now. I'd been looking for an old toolbox for a long time at thrift shops, and eBay has some but shipping gets pricey. I finally saved a pix of one from eBay that looked like it would be easy to copy for a pattern and just make my own. Luckily I found this one first. LOL. My pink flamingo came from thsi antique mall last year. I actually saw his mate the other day and was going to grab her, she had her head down. But another lady got her first. Darn. I did get a pair of the "Snow Mingos" from eBay that I love. Thanks for all the great comments, Everyone. You made my day again. hugs, Karen

dawiff! Dont sour, just mail from the mailbox! :) I have had no problems this way. I mail most of them for 2 stamps and if I get into a huge trade (20+) I use 3! No returns and no headaches! I avoid the PO unless I have to go,the whole situation was bumming me out also. But I figured why let them ruin something I love so much for me? :)

Fall Pix, part 2

Karen, you're right that first picture is Emperor of China. I try to have the old fashioned mums in each part of my gardens since fall is so beautiful here. Another plant that I like to have in all my gardens is Tagetes lemmonii. You don't really notice them too much until they bloom in November-December. They have buds but have not started to bloom yet. Tagetes lucida just started to bloom last week. John, I bought the leycesteria at BB's. I didn't know they were difficult. Now you have me worried. I grew it in a pot its first season and planted it out that fall. It came back on old stock but the stems that came up fresh from the ground were much nicer looking and I ended up cutting out the old branches. It tickles me enormously that I am making YOU jealous, teehee. Tammy thanks for the rudbeckia. You can decide what to trade it for. That muhly I think is called Pink Flamingo. We have it at BB's and it looks just like Shari's. Shari is the foliage on it flatter and more blue-green or gray than the regular pink muhly? Plant Delights lists it as muhlenbergia without a species name. I can't remember if we have a species name on our tag. I will have to check tommorrow. Adele

Awwww, thanks, you guys! Magic, I'm glad you like it, I thought you'd like that tropical-palm tree fabric.

I have fun making the little wallets, and people do seem to like them. I've sold a few on Etsy so far. It's been slow at work so I have had lots of time to sew lately.

I keep little things like towelettes, emery board, floss picks, sticks of gum, and I pin a couple of safety pins to the fabric. I have a little card of needle and threads from a "Hotel" that I keep for emergencies.

Those little "glass" tubes of perfume samples fit nicely too!

Neat gadget!

That would be handy for so many things that end up in the bottom of my purse. Nice!!

Lucky you Magic!

Love the ity bity palm trees. If you have a cavern of a purse like mine, a wallet thingy like that would come in handy.
Last Friday evening my buds and I were having a cocktail after a long evening of decorating for post prom. At some point about 4 of the gals pulled a version of the condiment pouch ,,out of their purse (only they were hard sided). I thought, "PERFECT"!! I can never find things in my cave purse, a hand size wallet would definitely do the job for my oddball storage. Hopefully this evening I can pick one up cause going through my purse is like rummaging through a trash can, its sooo big. It's time to organize or get a better purse.
