Glenda-I love the mini shredded wheat.I buy a box maybe 3 or 4 times a year.I'll have to look for that one.I love just plain old Cheerios,my favorite cereal,and Post Raisin Bran is right up on the top of my list.We don't eat a lot of cereal but every once in a while go through a "cereal spurt".LOL

I just had a bowl of cereal too! DH is working late tonight so that's what I had for supper. Post Select Blueberry Morning. Blueberries, multi grain flakes and almonds. Yummy! Also had a slice of sour dough toast with butter, cinammon and sugar.

I love shredded wheat and that is what I usually buy.

I love that cereal too. For cold cereal I loved Shreddies (from Canada), the "new" Cheerios flavored with juice are not to bad, got them last time the grandkids were here.

I also like Basic 4, and Museli.

Autumn Wheat has been my favorite for a long time.
Sometimes I mix that with Cheerios, and Craisins.

I'll have to try those (if I can find them, although I am able to get other Kashi cereals here). I really like shredded wheat. I can't have the frosted kind, but I like to add fruit (a handful of raisins or some blueberries). That way I don't need to add sugar or anything.

I like cereal, I tend to like the kinds with a whole bunch of stuff in them LOL. Dried fruit, nuts, multi flakes, oats, and so on. But I also like plain old cheerios and corn flakes. Not a huge fan of rice krispees or special k because they sog up too fast.

Envirokidz.. I can't decide which I love...Panda Puffs, Amazon Frosted Flakes or Koala Crisp.

All three are excellant with a banana and fresh berries..topped off with Organic 1 or 2% milk. :o)

Love their cereal bars too.

Glenda, my favorite is Autumn Wheat too, and it has a good amount of fiber.

Our Costco just started carrying it, so we even get a discount.

I paid $3.12 for the box, on Monday.
I'll eat it until I get tired of it, then back to the Mediterranean flax flakes!

I will have to look for that next time I am at WM. I bought Grape Nuts and Special K with Red Berries. I put Vanila Silk Soy on it. Yummy.

Any frosted shredded wheat. Not sure I could take it without the sugar. I eat a bowl every single day for breakfast.

I do miss my Cap'n Crunch Crunchberries. ;-)

I make my own granola and usually eat that with plain yogurt and frozen blueberries and/or dried tart cherries. If strawberries are in season, I load up on those. Or peaches. Or apricots. Or plums, whatever is ripe on the trees.

Never had a bowl of cereal in my 61 years. I don't drink milk and the idea of it dry doesn't appeal to me.

Oh gosh, its hard to pick just one. For the longest time I was eating Frosted Mini Wheats like crazy. Then it was the Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds. Today I bought some Pops, they looked good. Frosted Flakes are always good too. :)

I have old favorites I don't eat anymore; Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch and Crunch berries are the first that come to mind.
I love cereal, It's my favorite bedtime snack. I don't think I'll ever grow out of my love for a bowl of cereal. It was my most difficult transition after I got married. I was perfectly fine with having a bowl of cereal for dinner. My kids love it when they are scouring the pantry in the afternoon looking for a snack and I suggest a bowl of cereal. They look at me and say "really?" We only get whole grain, low sugar cereals and it's organic low fat milk now. So I guess I've grown up a bit.
The first day of their vacations I let them pick out a box of "junk" cereal that they can eat, but when it's gone it's back to the good stuff. I have too much respect for teachers to send them off to school loaded up with sugars and dyes. But that first week of vacation I just turn my head.

I like Raisin Bran cereal with some walnuts and Splenda on it with 1% milk. I really like that for a light supper better than for brekkie. :-)

Have any of you tried that Skim Milk Extra? It tastes more like whole milk, I hear.

I don't do milk so for me it's Corn Pops straight from the box.

had a friend once that ate cereal with juice on it instead of milk. anyone want to share their recipes for homemade granola or muesli?

My favorite cereal is/was Kellogs AllBran Complete Wheat Flakes. I say was because for the last 3 months I have not been able to find it in any of the grocery stores around here. I have contacted Kellogs and they tell me that it has not been discontinued. Really tics me off that the space for it in all stores has been taken up with Kellogs new Complete Wheat Flakes with strawberries and some kind of nuggets. It is awful!

I also love Vanilla Cream Mini Wheats. I will have to try Kashi's Autumn Wheat.

Dh eats nothing but Cheerioes. Mostly Honey Nut, but likes all the other Cheerioes too.

I just finished a bowl of Cheerios.
I used to have problems when donating blood. Quite often my iron levels would be borderline low for donating, and one time was too low. Iron supplements make me feel sick, so I decided to see which cereal had iron in it. I found Smart Start has 100% of the recommended daily amount of iron, so I bought a box. I found out it was delicious! So I would eat it for a week or at least 3 days before donating blood and my iron levels were always fine.

Now my iron is low again and I plan to buy some more for breakfast.

I like Cheerios, or a simlar cereal called "Organic Os".

I recently tried Familia Natural Muesli and it was wonderful!

I love cereal. I eat it for breakfast, and sometimes for snacks. I eat Raisin Bran, Cheerios, Rice Krispies with skim milk and no sugar. I also like cream of wheat and oatmeal.

I've been alternating Corn Bran with a Kashi one, I think. It has twigs, flakes and little probiotic balls of something (yogurt I guess)in it. Whichever one I choose, I sprinkle a load of cinnamon over it and use Light Original soy milk with it. I'm supposed to eat something before bed to keep my sugars even overnight and that's what I eat.

I love Life cereal, cinnamon mostly. Ron mentioned it too. Funny enough I can still remember the very first time I had Life cereal. It was at my Uncle's house in San Diego. Well over 20 years ago. Maybe that's more weird than funny.

For all the Mini Wheat eaters, in case you didn't know already, it is one of the best cereals as far as amount of sodium goes. Most cereals are high in sodium, mini wheats are really low in sodium and fat. Gotta love that.

I've tried a lot of them over the years. I like Life but it gets so soggy so quickly. I love Smart Start or the new Curves cereal. Mini shredded wheats are good, too, with Sweet 'n Low & 1% milk. Good old corn flakes are a nice break once in a while but I like something mixed in with the flakes for variety. I eat Cream of Wheat and/or oatmeal on the colder mornings. Before surgery yrs. ago, my dr. recommended I have Cream of Wheat for a week before to help the iron in my blood. Turned out they never had to used the blood I donated for myself, which was a good thing.

I had a bowl of Quaker Oat Squares this morning, that is my favorite. I also like granola, any brand as long as it isn't too sweet. And recently discovered Kelloggs Mueslix which is very good. Standbys are Grape Nuts and Raisin Bran.

DH always has to have a banana on his but I like mine plain or with berries when they are in season. How about the rest of you? And he has it with rice milk, I use 2%.

I haven't bought cereal in a very long time. But, I might have to stroll down the cereal isle to see whats new. I love shredded wheat, but I've been eating oatmeal.
