Aqua Blue Pebble Sheen---Pics????

Anyone have any Aqua Blue Pebble Sheen pictures they'd like to share or post on here? I am needing to decide on a color for my new pool. I only want the Level 1 colors since we are already so far over budget. I don't want any green or grey at all. Just a nice solid bright blue. Nothing too dark either. Pics??? Ideas???

We are going with PebbleFina "Bella Blue". We've physically viewed a pool this color and my wife really likes it. No green or greys and VERY blue; really close to the color of Windex.

We like PebbleFina because it's much better than just plaster, but less expensive as Pebble Tech or Pebble Sheen.

Now is the time to do your research! Be sure not to trust digital pictures on internet as they are not accurate!

I love the Bella Blue....its gorgeous! I wasnt sure if PebbleFina was available in our area. We are in Houston. I will have to ask my PB about it.
Windex is about what I want. What area are you in?

Mine is around 20,000 gallons (deepest part is only 5 feet) with dimensions of 36'6" by 24' with 2 lights. Sounds like you have a big pool. Maybe you should get 3? Maybe that's overkill? If you are worried about it being too dark I would definetely get some builder's advice.

Here are some photos of our recent resurfacing, using PebbleTec Pebblesheen in Prism Blue. You can see how it changes color at different depths. We especially love how it goes from medium blue to dark blue as the sun moves to shade throughout the day. This color also has abalone shells so there is a little sparkle as the sun hits it.

Hi - I was about to post the same question! We are trying to decide between the two. I have seen one pool in Blue Granite but am trying to find one in Aqua Blue that I could see in person. Gina, Yes, we are thrilled with the color!! I was a bit nervous at first - it looked nothing like yours. But I think we just needed to get the water chemistry right - we filled right before Fay came through (actually ended up having to drain the pool I just spent 2 days filling!), so it was murky and not the clear blue it is now. But once our builder got all the chemicals in and everything balanced, the water cleared right up and it's beautiful. Everyone who sees it loves it. And you were SO right about the purple. I was calling it my eggplant pool. Thanks for the warning! My builder had never done one in this color or majestic plum. (Even the plaster guys had never done one.) I have a feeling he's going to be sending lots of people by here. He loves it. I didn't open the wine - too hectic the day they did the installation. I'm saving it for our first official break-in the pool celebration with our friends! We did not get the shells. My husband wasn't too keen on it. I was just happy he agreed with me to upgrade to the PebbleSheen to begin with. He's SO glad we did. Katherine, I'll try to take some pictures in different lights - late afternoon hours are beautiful - it's a deep blue color in the shade which looks gorgeous with a golden sunset going on. We have Aqua Blue Pebble Sheen and LOVE it. Bright, clear Windex blue. No green or grey. Everyone who sees it is very impressed with the look of the material itself. I like the texture of the Sheen. If your PB can't physically take you to see a pool with Aqua Blue, have them call Modern Method Gunite (the Houston PebbleTec contractor who did mine) and they should be able to show you some pools. HTH!

Thank you for the information. I know this is the color we want, but I really want to see a pool in person with this color in person. I will ask my PB who they use for Gunite. What part of Houston are you in? We are in NW--Cypress area. Can you post some pics of your pool??

To keep this short, we went round and round on what color. My top choices were Blue Lagoon PT or Aqua Blue PS. Like you, I don't like green or gray at all. I don't even like gray as a color period. But, I ended up choosing Slate Blue PS. LOL

We went with Aqua Blue PS and love it so far. Of course, our pool was just filled on Sunday. :-) I'll try to take some pictures and post when I get home from work. Also, we're in the Heights, so if you get down this way and want to see it in person, you're welcome to. I know it's a hard decision!

sls15b, Congrats on your pool--how exciting. Who is your PB if you dont mind me asking? I am now wishing we would have started the process back in March and we could be swimming now. I would love to see some of your pictures. Please do post them when you get a chance. We don't have any trees, full sun on the pool pretty much all day. We are going with a Roman/Grecian style pool with half moons on each side except the side with the wall. I like the clean lines and didn't want curves. So I'm hoping the Aqua Blue looks good here. Thanks for your help....can't wait to see your pictures.

sls15b, Wow, That is IT! Love the color! Absolutely love the color. We were able to see another pool in person with this color and we did like it. I like the pebble look too. The steps didn't look as blue, but no biggie! So I'm decided we are going with Aqua Blue PS. Your pool is great! Love the circular raised patio.
Signed our contract yesterday and I'm ready to get in the water now.
