If DH ever gets home--they've started back up with overtime--we'll be having a stir-fry.

Am trying to empty out the freezer as much as possible before the move in 2 weeks. Have some roast beef there, so I'll be using that with some onions, pepper, celery, broccoli, water chestnuts. Good meal for tonight, since it only takes about 10 minutes to put it together (yes, I'm cheating and using minute rice)

A little chilly and rainy here today. We're having lasagna and small salad.

I fixed myself some smokey grillers and had those and some iced tea. I worked in the garden some today and I am a little tired.

Monkey see, monkey do (or Shirley reads what others are having, Shirley has to have it too). So I had sausage and pancakes tonight.

I got a good post knee surgery checkup today on both knees. One surgery was last June and 2nd was last Oct.

Azzalea, only two more weeks--and I bet you'll be so happy to have everything finalized. I feel for you, because we bought a house in the country that had to be completely finished. It took us two years of just about every weekend working our fannies off. Your stir fry sounds good. I have some veggies in the freezer marked "stir fry" so that'll probably be on our table sometime soon.

Georgysmom, that sounds really good for a crappy day :-) We could use a little of that rain if you want to pass it on.

Sue, did you eat any of your radishes yet? I just love them, but only out of someone's garden. Those grocery store things just don't taste right to me. Do you ever plant white ones? We used to put butter on them and sprinkle with salt. Yum!

Shirley, good news for your knees. Can you do just about everything you were able to before you needed the surgery--like bending, stooping, etc? Hope you enjoyed your pancakes--that's the best thing about reading what everyone is having--to give me ideas of what to fix for dinner :-) Half the time I wish I was eating at someone else's house!!

Patti, yes I did eat my radishes this noon and I do have the white icicle radishes growing but they are not quite big enough to eat. I like my radishes with bread and butter.

I fixed Larry a nice T-bone steak, tossed salad, baked tater with butter, and honey wheat roll.... I had leftover fried chicken, a bit of gravy, tossed salad...

I love the fried chicken from our local grocer... deelish.. and way cheap... a whole fried chickie for 3.99. Yummers..

Just came home from dinner at my aunt's. She had us, and my step-father over. Ribs, twice-baked potatoes, carrots, broccoli, and broccoli-slaw was on the menu. Cherry cheesecake for dessert. It was all good!

Busy day. We had Marlboro Man's Favorite sandwich (Pioneer Woman) and french fries, hubby wanted cauliflower with cheese for a veggie. Different combo but it hit the spot.
