I made some quick frozen fajitas for a snack. Been snacking all day, 2 cups of coffee, 4 cinnamon buns,slice of re-heated sausage and meatball pizza, glass of wine, and the fajitas. May have sandwiches later. Doing some gardening/yard clearing/setting seedlings outside to "harden off".It was 65 today. I read in the paper that March and April temps have been below normal.

It was a mix of sun and clouds today, with rain forecasted all next week.

When I was i.n the freezer earlier this week, a turkey was saying "pick me!"

So roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy and steamed carrots was the menu today. It's been a long time, and it tasted fantastic!

I made Trisha Yearwood's asparagus bundles for Easter. Very tasty. My son and grandson each ate two bundles.

I precooked my bacon just to render some of the fat.

I had some beef surrounded by various vegetables, and a small dish of applesauce.

It rained for several hours in my part of Ohio today....then it was just very overcast. Makes for a very damp/cold day.

Jannie, those 4 cinnamon buns sound sooo good. I've been busy today switching closets around and so far I've done 3 loads of wash. I'm taking it easy in the kitchen. I have some sauce left over from the shrimp creel so I'll just throw some more shrimp in it. Creole, rice and corn muffins. That's it for here.

Jannie, a snack day sounds like fun! Sounds like you got a lot of yard work done, too, so you worked off the calories. Double fun!

Jasdip, I roasted a turkey last weekend (I think), and you are so right! Doesn't it taste delicious? I made mashed potatoes and gravy, too, but my gravy wasn't quite right. Forgot to add a pinch of sage to it!!

Glenda, it's good to hear a good review. It sounded great, but you never know. That sauce is sure good!

Aw, Shirley, wish we could take that rain of yours. It's been a very long winter up north. But we all know we'll be griping about the heat and humidity before long :-)

Beautiful day here in NNY. Sunny and 80 by late afternoon. Salad and steak on the barby for supper. It was a full day for me. First Communion mass for my grandson at 9, yard and garden work at my sisters for an hour or two, long ride in the country with hubby and drinks with the neighbors. Everyone is so darn happy with the weather. The children were so cute at mass. So nice to see them all dressed up and families sitting together.

Have not had to computer since Thu. Just love rural TN, lots of rain or should I say floods & when that happens no computer because we have no phone. Tonight we had spag & hot italian sausage. For dessert I made a lemon meringue pie

I am making blackened tilapia, roasted corn on the cob, salad.

Raven, I was going to do corn on the cob, but the asparagus needed to be cooked. And we have enough left over for tomorrow night. I saw a new way to cook corn on Pinterest today. This sounds easy enough.

How did I NOT know this? Never boil corn again! Want to know the easiest way to cook corn on the cob? Throw it in the oven at 350ð for 25-30 minutes. ThatâÂÂs it. Leave the husk on, it will trap in the moisture, leaving you with juicy, tender corn. The husk and silk will peel away easily once itâÂÂs cooked. Cut off the large end and it slides right out with no silk. We do this all the time.....good on the grill too!

I had fried cat fish (lightly battered in corn meal), with steamed mixed veggies.

We had Spinach Linguine with White Clam Sauce. 15 or 20 minutes from start to finish and very tasty.
