No golf today. There was an outside outing so the courses were closed. Today was togetherness day. DH and I were out looking for new porch furniture. We went to eleven different places and now just have to make a final decision. We had lunch out. I had a Reuben..ate half and will have the other half tonight. DH had a hamburger, cole slaw and fries. If he decides to eat something later, he'll help himself. Yeah, a night off.

I too had leftovers. I had last of cracker dressing, some noodles alfredo, and a bowl of lima beans (cooked from dried on Wed).

I haven't been able to find frozen fordhook lima beans around my area for at least a couple of years. Do you have them where you live?

I did find Pictsweet Butter Beans at my local Drug Mart yesterday.

Georgysmom, each day our newspaper has a weather trivia question. Today's question was whether a golf ball would travel farther when it's cold or warm. The answer is warm, since warm air is denser than cold air. So next time you play in cooler weather and not play as well as you like, just blame the danged weather! ; ) Enjoy your night out of the kitchen.

Shirley, I haven't really looked for fordhooks--Harry likes the baby limas best. I'll have to look next time I shop. Nice none of us have to to anything but warm up leftovers tonight! (Well, so far, anyway.)

Busy afternoon for me!

I had the same as I had the other day: spinach and feta tart, side blt salad and sour cream biscuit

Then off to state championship game for GS.

We had pasta puttanesca and I added feta cheese and chopped baby spinach. It's a quick, delicious pasta dish and pretty much our favourite.

I don't know, after what I saw at the doctor's office today I am not sure I want to eat! (I posted about it)
But I am not cooking! So we will have to pick something up or go out.

Broiled talapia, mashed potatoes with gravy, dish of cottage cheese, warm bread and butter, coffee.

Oh, Glenda, I sure hope they win! Is this the last game?--well, guess it is if it's the championship. I'm so dense sometimes. I just have to make those muffins (if I ever get this house cleaned).

Jasdip, is it acting like spring in Canada now? Hope you're having some pretty days. I've never had pasta puttanesca, but I love saying it :-)

Raven, I read your post about your doctor visit and almost fell off the chair laughing. I wish you could've gotten a picture. That would be sooooo funny! What in the world was she thinking?

Linda, I see a lot of tilapia in our future since I bought a big bag at Sam's. It's about our favorite fish these days. Yummm, warm bread!!

omg..friday night take out...we went to a chicken place (which we never get, lol) i had ribs and dh fish....they give generous portions of broasted potatoes, that we have enough for breakfast tomorrow...we had our drinks from sam's club...no dessert tonight !

Patty melts, Potato salad, Macaroni salad. I am stuffed!
