I do every 10 years. They started being really fun at 20 years and in 2010 I will attend my 50th year reunion. The only downside to the reunions is hearing who died in the past 10 years. I have recently lost 10 of the 20 pounds I would like to lose before the reunion.

Yes..we don't have them on a regular schedule. My class was over 360 students, and we're scattered all over the country.

2010 with be the 30th year class reunion for me. So far, so good, I've NEVER been to one yet!!!

No, not ever. I'm not in touch with anyone, either. The one close friend I did have in high school died about a year after we graduated.

I played XBox with Dave a last night, had e-mail from him a bit ago, and we'll play again tonight.

He just turned 44, I'll be 44 in a few weeks. We've known each other, and have been friends, for 41 years.

Oh yes! I love visiting with my classmates. I went to a small school and went through all grades with most of the kids I graduated with. We were a close class. We have been having reunions every 5 years.

I went to one, the 20 year which is the only one my class has had. I don't really desire to go to another. I still keep in contact with a couple classmates. 1 is my best friend since I was 5.

Just put my name on cherbo's post. I think there were 104 of us--of course, fewer now. We have the best time and act just as silly as we did when we graduated in '61. I never laugh as much as I do with my old classmates.

Class reunions are a big deal in my home town in Indiana. Every class is invited to attend the banquet on Saturday evening, but "honored classes" (those celebrating 5, 10, 15, etc.) have an afternoon get together either at a fellow classmates home or at someplace like the Legion or K of C hall. Then after the banquet we reune again at one of those places and the party really begins!!

2011 is my 50th--Lord willing, I'm going!

Never been to one. Not sure if they're having one next year or not, it will be 30 years next year. OMG, I'm getting old.

I've never been to one and never had a desire to go to one. The friends I had in highschool who are still living are still my friends and we stay in touch. I graduated 45 years ago.

I don't think the school I attended ever had class reunions, none that I knew about and with my moving wouldn't have attended if there had been one.

DH attended his first,in 2001 and that was his 50th! He graduated from a very small school but most of his class attended and were flabbergasted when he showed up. He attended his 55th and said he guess he would go every 5 years until he was no longer on this planet.

Graduated in 1942 (war time) and we were determined to keep this class together. We had reunions every year until the 65th, I believe. Old age and deaths made the numbers dwindle and finally they just stopped. Some who still lived in the vicinity would meet for lunch or something, and may still do.

At the 50th, we decided to take a cruise together, and set a date and signed up with a deposit. There were about 75 of us and we had a great time.

All that is in the past now, but I have pictures to remember them by.

I went to two of them...one at 15 years and one at 20 years, but I don't think they've had any since. I doubt I'd go. I am not interested in any of those people. My husband would be more apt to go.

I enjoyed the first two I went to, but those kind of things don't interest me very much any more.

Each year our old school has what they call an Alumni Banquet and all the graduates and friends can come, each year a different graduating class is honored. I only went to my 25th year anniversary. If I would go this year it would be 57 years since I graduated. They do have a catered meal that you pay for. I don't plan to go.

Even though DH and I graduated same year, class was so large and different personalitites never knew each other but due to all sorts of problems did not go to the first many and living out of the area for rest--but then class was over 500+ Found out later many lived near us, but never contacted us for some reason, but did each other.

I had a very small class with only about 25 students. I've been to a couple. The first time I went I had a terrible time and did not go back for a very long time. The last one I went to was very fun. No one brought their spouses unless the spouse was from the same class. It was much more fun that way. I didn't have to stayed glued to the DH and could really mingle. Everyone loved it that way. I'm not sure though that there will be another for a very long time.

Isn't it amazing how when you are in school some say it is the best years of your lives. If it was so good, why don't more people want to relive their past? For me, it really wasn't good. But I know that everyone grows up and the last one was fun.

Scissors, my close friends and I decided to go to our 35th reunion with out our husbands (husbands were happy to stay home) and yes we did have more fun. We didn't have to worry about them being bored or wanting to leave earlier than we wanted.
Our reunions are very casual. No dances or entertainment or expensive meals. Just a lot of visiting and catching up.

I've gone to every one and always have a blast...our class was very casual so we usually just meet...have a casual dinner and catch up!

No never. High school was not a social experience for me. My social life started everyday after the bell rang.

I went to my public school reunion several years ago. I had so much fun! I met people I was in kindergarden to 6th with. Some still looked just the same only bigger!
Next month I am going to an evening gathering at my High Schools 50th anniversay reunion. It's a 3 day event but DH and I plan to go to just the Fri eveining wine & cheese meet and greet event. I am looking forward to getting back into the school again and looking at some old pictures and maybe talking with some of my old teachers. There really aren't too many people I am going to be looking for. But it will be interesting!

Went the 20th..had a fairly miserable time. This year is our 50th, and I'm not going to the "banquet"(subtitle, overpriced meal at a local restaurant) but a few friends are going to get together informally to just catch up. Because I'm flying across the country, and will visit other friends and spend some time with the GKs, the "reunion" is an afterthought.

Our class was 750+ students, and I was one of the poor kids, so there aren't that many fond memories.

I attended my 50th HS reunion in 2004. There had been 45 in the class and over 20 showed up for the reunion, a strong turn-out since several us had passed away.

I did not make a special trip to attend since it is about 400 miles away, but combined it with a visit to my sister who still lives in the area. after the reunion, I did some more genealogical research on my family.

My class has had a reunion every five years since we graduated - until 2007. It should have been our 40th and we just didn't have the heart to plan it after we lost our friend, Angie. Several of us who were the "planners" everytime were extremely close to her and it just didn't sound like anything we could pull off right after she passed away.

There's talk that we're gonna get together and just eat and visit sometime in July and I hope that we do.

Haven't missed a reunion yet. We are still a pretty close class.

I went to 1 of our reunions....i believe it was the 10th....anyway, while in school, we had a small class, and everyone was in a "click" as i call it....and rarely did anyone talk to anyone except for those 3 or 4 ppl in their click...it was hard for me cuz I liked talking to anyone or would hang out with anyone. Anyway, I thought after 10 yrs, maybe they would change or grow up...NOT!!!!! I was there for 10 minutes, walked over to talk to someone, and she saw i was coming and turned her back! I got my stuff, said goodbye to my friends, and left. The next time I got an invite, I returned it with a note explaining why I wouldnt be there and to not send me another one cuz I wouldnt go anyway...anyone I want to see, I already make time for!

Yes!Yes! I have attended all of my high school reunions. They are so much fun. I love seeing all my old school friends and getting caught up with how they are doing. I enjoyed high school very much. We were a small class, 112 students. Last years' was a multi grade reunion, so I also got to see friends from other classes too. It was great! Drinks, dinner, and dancing...looking at all the old yearbooks, and photos people had brought. My husband likes to go to my reunions more so then his. He graduated from a different high school then mine. His graduating class was well over 350 students. I wouldn't miss a reunion. NancyLouise

Yes, I go. I'm usually the one getting them together. The people who should be doing it, are either in other parts of the nation, or don't care enough to put one together. We'll have our 50th in 2012. We had a very small school/class. I think 32 in my class. Some have passed away already. I can't believe how fast (in some ways) these 50 years have gone by. I think I'm only 35 years old now. Bwahaha

I'm picking up a vibe here that sure is true in my case. If your class was small, you felt you knew classmates and are eager to see them again. If your class was large...the reverse.

My HS graduation class was nearly 1,000. I attended a huge township-wide school that became overcrowded before the money could be raised to build a second HS. Do you think I want to attend reunions? (No)

I went to my 30th
my sister wanted me to go and paid for it. It was nice seeing people I hadn't seen in 30 years. My best friend didn't go but we keep in touch. I grew up with her and went through all schooling with her and haven't seen her in o %^&** years but we still write and call once in a while her voice still sounds like her. She is one who dosen't have a computer.

Our 50th was in 2007 and one of the planners died just a week before the reunion. One of the other planners was a good friend in high school and had a Friday afternoon get together for about 20 people. Lots of fun.
I was heart broken when I learned my "boyfriend" from kindergarten had died the year before.
I keep in touch with about five people from our class.
