Sorry, I got home and lets just say I was a little bit out of it. I definately couldn't be an alcoholic or drug addict, I feel so out of it. Let me tell you that it is worse than a c-section, and at least that way you get to take a baby home. I am really sore all over my abdomen and it is nicely bruised. When I went in firt he said I would have no restrictions, little pain and could do what I wanted Baloney, no lifting for 3 days, 3 more days of pumping and no driving. My mom has the younger 3 and my MIL has Rhiannon and they are enjoying time with Grandma and Grandpa. Dan has been big help and watches over me to make sre I don't do so much. I could post some pics if anoyone wants to see. The incissions , I was surprised being laprascopic surgery the ammoun of holes, and the sizes and all the bruising. Other than sitting still it hurts anyway I move. Thank you for all the thoughts, sufloers and prayers, It is going to be some time before I et to feeling better. Just srng my ptty party Stacie

I am so sorry to hear you having this shoulder problem. I have had my right shoulder operated on twice in five years. I worry about you not having the help you may need to recover from this as it can be very difficult for the first few weeks. Both operations consisted of bone spurs,calcium deposits, and arthritis. I am 56 years old and have my son and grandchildren that live next door that helped me along with my DH. Both times I tried physical therapy before surgery but never got relief. I am not able to take any type of NSAIDS so trying to get relief for me wasn't working. The first surgery I did great. I had a pain pump for three days, but I had to have help getting dressed, showering and getting to places such as physical therapy as driving was not going to happen for awhile. Second surgery was somewhat the same but allot more surgery was required so the healing took allot longer. Both times I was immediately put on an ice machine in Operating room and sent home with one as well. You must use one!!!! I cannot imagine anyone not. The first machine I had to fill myself.(one reason it would be nice to have someone with you) the second time I used a ThermoTek cold compression machine with leg cuffs for blood circulation. The thermotek did not require me putting ice in it. It truly was my Savior as I used it a minimum of four times a day for a month. Healing has been SLOW for me. If I was able to get relief from physical therapy or the use of drugs I NEVER would have done it twice! I had this last done August 2012 and I am still healing and not pain free yet. My 65 pound boxer had TTA about 9 wks ago and is doing pretty well. The vet said that TTA is newer than TPLO and has a quicker recovery. My dog was doing pretty good after only 2 wks and is doing better and better all the time. He limp is gone and the bunny hopping is almost gone as well. We recently increased the length of her leash walks to about 20 mins and she is allowed occasional off leash for about 5 mins at a time. Per the vet, we will continue increasing activity for another 4 wks or so and then she should be just about back to her old self. She still shows some signs of arthritis and probably always will but the vet recommended some joint supplements that are easy to get in local chain pet stores. The vet also advised the other leg is likely to experience the same problem at some point. Helping the dog thru recovery is a little tough - they do still want to run and play - but if you take good care of them, make them rest, my experience is that the TTA procedure works well.

Thank you for returning to update! I have been thinking of you. I just want to echo Mtn-- it wasn't all for nothing. Keep doing what you are doing. FWIW I also allow my GP to handle routine GYN maintenance and testing. I think that's fine until there's a need for a specialist. It makes sense for me for a lot of reasons-- I am sure it's the same for you. You are in an area with the best medical care in the country. I am sure you are with a dr you trust and respect... and the speed with which they responded to a concern is impressive. So glad you are in good hands and that there are no concerns!!
