Florence, My pages jump - well, roll really up and then down then up again, everytime I load them. Makes dealing with the site very difficult for me. It's also very difficult for me to read since I have problems with adjusting my eyes. Occasionally I get multiple print on websites and I don't ever know why. Usually it goes away if I reboot. I wish the pages would just behave! Carlota

I had to go back and read the steps that I recommended :-) Do you still have print jobs waiting to be printed or have you cleared that out? If you didn't clear it, you may need to do that. Did you remove the print cartridge when you cleared the paper jam? If not, I suggest turning the printer off, removing the cartridge, checking carefully for any bits of paper left inside the printer and turning the printer back on. We'd like to see a message from the printer advising that the cartridge is missing. Now turn it off and replace the cartridge. The purpose of this is to break the paper feed/no print cycle that your printer seems to be stuck in. My hope is that when you turn the printer back on, the current print job will complete. If that doesn't happen, go ahead and cancel the job. Try printing afterward selectively just to complete the 20 page cycle that was in progress. Pam

I work in a hospital as the Website Coordinator and since 90% of our user's has a resolution of 800x600 or greater, we ran into a printing problem. (i.e. the right side of page getting cut off) I believe a printer will only print 640 across. It might even be a little less, but I know 800 pixels will get cut off. Our solution? Have a "printer friendly version" button that removes the template and just diplays the text. Click here to see Newsletter Try "File/Print Preview" to see how it gets cut off. Now press the "Print Friendly button" and do a preview again. The text will automatically justify to the printers margins. (landscape or portrait) I'd forget about the printversion.doc idea. Since Word docs can have macros embedded with viruses and crap... a lot of people will not open them. You have 2 easy options though. 1. Get Adobe Acrobat. (you'll need more then the free version if you want to create PDF's) 2. Create another HTML document with just the page content and not the template. Hi, Val, just thought I'd show you the botanicals I've framed, just to give you more ideas, but it sounds like you have it almost all figured out. I have enjoyed watching your room come alive! I got all my botanicals off Ebay too & decided to do ready-made frames and had custom mats cut to make the prints fit in my frames. I used 16x20 frames with inserts of 10x13 openings. My botanicals are slightly smaller than the insert, so to fill it out, I used black mats on all of mine & I love how it makes them look more important. That touch of black all around really makes the botanicals stand out, I think. Whether this is proper placement or not, I have no idea, but it worked for my eye. I have framed several sets of these in this same way & will show you all the pics of how I've used the black mat exactly the same way. These were standard black frames from Michaels & came with the ivory mats inside with the glass & these had a black border built in on the inner ivory mat already, I just added another custom black mat to fill in the space that I needed to fill to fit my botanical. I know you can't see all the details on these pics, but hopefully this will help you some: This one is open frames from Hobby Lobby & I bought standard mats & again added the custom black inner mat so the botanicals would fit. HL does a great job with adding mats & glass & very reasonable. These gold frames came from Tuesday AM & they had the ivory mats with gold edge already in them, along with the glass. All I did was again add the black inner custom mat & it was done. I found this to be the most cost effective way to frame these odd-shaped botanicals.
