Aluminium Fencing

Hi,

Does anyone know a great source for alumnium fencing. My husband will be doing the install, we just need to purchase the material.

This fencing will used to close in the pool from the rest of the yard, I plan on having it 4 foot high. The property line fence is a 6 foot wood fence.

I got my fence from fencecenter.com and had a good experience with them.
They are good about answering any questions, reviewing your drawings before finalizing the order and even made some suggestions which saved me some money.
My tile guy installed it without any problems. He had a line on the same type of fencing from Master Halco at "wholesale", and these prices were better.

I don't have experience with Confederate jasmine and an aluminum fence. I do have a chain link fence (which I assume is the same as an aluminum fence), and it actually has trees growing through it, but it hasn't affected the strength of the fence. So I'd feel pretty sure that the Confederate vine won't do any damage to yours, but hopefully others will chime in as well.

Thanks....I found some hangers made especially for aluminum fencing by MIDE Products. I ordered them online and received them yesterday, and they're exactly what I was looking for, as they don't need to be screwed into a fence post.

I did it myself and used Delgard brand, aero sentry line. I liked it a little better than Jerith brand, it had more of an oval shape to the top rail instead of a square look. I ordered it from fence city in pa with no problems. It really wasnt that hard to install. I have pics if you need any.

After looking at all the prices of fence stuff,post,gates,
etc. I had a company do mine around $32. a foot,includes
permit,2 gates,and super nice fence.Anyone on S.E.Fla. coast
I highly recommend this company.They do screened inclosures too.Let me know if you need someone.

Keep in mind that Aluminum fencing is categorized as "decorative".I have seen it bent by basketballs and mangled by lawnmowers.Jerith and some of the other US made aluminum fencing are the best,stay away from the Chinese imports.A much better option is the Montage steel fencing.Home Depot sells it now and it is made in the USA.

Although aluminum doesn't "rust" it does corrode,Iv'e worked on plenty of rotten airplanes(aluminum) to attest to thos as well as some heavily corroded Esther Williams aluminum walled pools.
