thanks for the link,but im looking for a poolhouse (detatched) with a bar setup w/barstools.i already have a pool,just trying to build a poolhouse for it and i thought a bar setup with barstools would be a good idea.picture a shed,which has a door you can either roll up or somehow open up,i wish to put in a ceiling fan among other things.seems as though someone here posted a pic of one before,i just can't seem to find it.

CNCGuy: Hopefully I'm posting this photo correctly (it's been awhile since I've posted one!) Instead of having a permanent bar inside our pool house, we just move our high patio table & bar stools into the pool house when we want to sit inside. We've got a TV in the corner armoir, ceiling fan/light, and fridge, so we've got all the creature comforts when we need them.

Now that the weather is nicer, we moved the patio set and put in our two chaise lounge chairs into the pool house.

That's our new Australian Cattle Dog, Nash, hanging outside the pool house w/one of our German Shorthaired Pointers, Lilly. I'll post more photos of him in another thread.

Here's a few pics of some of our structures with summer kitchens with a bar area

I promise you that there's nothing better than a summer kitchen with a bar near your pool. Except, perhaps a pavilion with a summer kitchen/bar, plus a fireplace and a pool table.

Awesome pics of the pavilions! I especially like yours with the outdoor pool table. Can't convince my better half that we need one of these with one in the basement already!

On the second picture, do you remember how the ceiling is finished. Kinda looks like a drop ceiling but wanted to confirm.

In the second pic we placed 4x8 sheets of hardiplank siding with the stucco pattern as soffitt, lamp cans, and a ceiling box for a standard ceiling fan. I think this one was a 54"
I really like the cathedral ceiling look, but I have many buyers who like the look of a flat ceiling with built/ins, it hides the mechanicals like power, cable, speaker wires etc...

I like the open look also, but my better half prefers the finished look.

The method you described is certainly better than drop ceiling for outdoor use. I'll file this away for our outdoor living area construction project in about 10 years!
