The dimensions are approx. 20 X 20, including the bathroom. A majority of the dimensions were decided for us, as we are adding on to the back of the house, and the foundation and topography determined much of what we could do. My plan is for it to be all enclosed with a sliding door to the outside, and a bar-type window (so we can put bar stools outside). The interior, again is mainly determined by the existing situation. In the end, we plan for it to have a full bath, a bar set up with some cooking/washing capabilities, and room for some furniture. I wish I could say I have it all planned out, but my husband is doing most of the work (saving big $$) and we are doing the pool first, with this prepped but we are not actually building it, now. I know it is unconventional to do it this way, but that is how we tend to work. He is the do-er, and we design together based on him telling me what needs to be where for logistical reasons and me telling him how I want it to look given the logistical constraints. :)

Trailrunner, I live in Pewaukee, WI which is about 20 miles west of Milwaukee. This past winter was very long but I think I can safely say spring has sprung. I swim laps like crazy all summer. I thought I was doing good with 50 or 60 round trips but now you make me feel like a slug with your 80. We only use a pool service to open and close the pool. I do maintenance throughout the summer. We replaced the old sand filter with a cartridge system 2 years ago and the pool stays cleaner than ever. No more back washing and way less vacuuming. People are always surprised when I tell them how little work it is to keep the pool up. I would love to have pavers or stained, stamped concrete around the pool but can't justify the expense either. Found a photo of the damage that a September hailstorm did to the liner. We were actually lucky because we were planning on replacing the liner the next spring and this way our homeowners insurance covered the cost. So here is what it looked like. This photo ( with my son acting a little bit goofy) shows that the previous liner was a bit lighter than the current one. Our pool gets full sun until late in the day. Maybe I should have picked an even darker liner. I didn't think they would make the water that much warmer. Oh well, I hope this liner is good for the next ten years.

Linen white is a stock off-white that many people (including myself) love. Ballet white (OC-9) is supposed to be completely neutral and is very light. I think Elephant Tusk (OC-8) is wonderful, but it may be a little too dark for you. It is the same as Ivory Porcelain (239).

Hi Kevarose some of the suggestions are great - I especially liked Garry's idea of Buff Beauty or Phyllis Bide. I am looking out my window at the ferral rose garden and had another idea. What about climbing Softie? She is normally shown as small - to about 1.5m, but mine has grown to the top of a pine pole (about 3m)and I once saw one that was about three times the size!! She is constantly in flower with sweet lemon blooms which are fully double and fade to white. Not that I can actually see her - Lamarque has smothered her! I'll atempt a rescue mission on the weekend. Softee is a climbing minature and so could be planted on the side of the structure so she could almost 'sit' on the roof. Softee s thornless!! and does not have 'canes'. Her growth habit is like an everyflowering rambler - which is what that think you are asking for. Another climbing miniature I have read about is Golden Garden. Though she has canes 'Penelope' the hybrid musk is a perfect colour and has the advantage of lovely hips in autumn/winter - her growth is similar to Buff Beauty. Cheers Deryn
