I did, and I did like it. That was some pool slide, wow.

Scott Cohen's designs are always fun. $250,000 worth of fun, apparently!

I loved it! However, I thought I heard them say they were using manufactured stone on the raised bond beam. Even if the sheers don't get them wet, there would certainly be lots of splashing. Aren't you supposed to use real stone for wet areas? Also, the only thing I didn't like is that there was very little shaded area.

Incredible!

Interesting that they mentioned she was a single mom! She either has a great job, or has a ex that pays a boatload of child support and/or alimony! Anyone know what city that neighborhood is in?

I love the choices available in manufactured stone, but have been told by PB and sales people at Thompson's Bldg. Materials not to use them anywhere near a pool. I certainly don't want to take a chance! Our RBB is going to be 4' tall, a combo of natural stone and tile.

Last year my female hardy kiwi was full of flowers, but the male had none. I did find two kiwi fruits that were set without being pollinated by a male flower. They did mature and ripened. I would definitely plant a male if you only have female trees to get a crop, or as mentioned before try to find someone who has a male tree locally and pollinate by hand. Bass

Any chances of posting some clear shots of the plant? That might help. Also, is the plant against a wall or fence, or fronted by a patio, side walk or other handscape? "Leggy" impresses me as insufficient sun, but you state yours receives full sun. I've found Julia likes being generally shaped, like you would shape a green landscape bush, instead of being "pruned" as one might a hybrid tea. The way it grows, you're going to have lots of "dog legs" as it doesn't throw the long canes topped by flowers like a hybrid tea does. It doesn't even put out growth like a traditional floribunda. OK, first you get some cashew butter... I have no cult secrets to convey. The safest way to remove blushing, or fogging, due to moisture is by releasing the moisture from the shellac. It's water vapor that's causing the clouding, so get rid of the water vapor. The proper way to do this is to use a french polishing pad and charge it with just alcohol and apply it to the fogged area without dragging finish. As the shellac softens it opens to allow water to escape. Technique, however, is not a trivial part of this. Now, for the secret society version. Using an industrial heat-gun, slowly warm the affected area, using Jedi control, and the moisture will evaporate, or at least vacate the finish. This works about 50% of the time for me. Any Way to Get Stain Out of Carrara Marble Counter?

It's so difficult to remove stains from such a porous stone. If a poultice for that type of stain didn't do it, it's likely lost. Personally, I'd give a to call a stone re-finisher. I recently had good success with a problem step of a limestone stairway. They might be able to minimize it at the least. ps: Carrara is just the city where the marble comes from right? Lol, I ask b/c I'm familiar with that but thought it could be a brand name of some kind (like Pergo).

I believe Scott Cohen works up in the LA area, though not sure exactly where. He was also featured on that Splash! special that HGTV had on last year. I too also wondered how she paid for all that! I also wondered what was the story behind the half-finished pool that sat for a year.
