Impossible buttermilk pie recipe?

Does anyone have the recipe for a pie called Impossible Buttermilk Pie? You put buttermilk, eggs, coconut, etc. into blender and it makes its own crust. Would love to make it.

You could try the Bisquick site. I think most of those "Impossible" pies come from there.

I found them, but the cocanut pie calls for reg milk.

Don't know if this is close, but there seems to be a bunch of them like this that call for coconut. Maybe you could leave it out? IMPOSSIBLE PIE 4 eggs, well beaten 1 3/4 cups sugar 1/2 cup self-rising flour 1/2 stick margarine, melted 1 tsp. vanilla 2 cups milk 7 oz. coconut, fresh or Angel Flake Mix sugar and flour, add beaten eggs. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into 2 greased 9 inch pie pans. Bake at 350 degrees until brown on top--about 35 minutes. Makes its own crust.

Thank you! Those yeast cakes come/came in 2 sizes. 1 oz. and 2 oz. And I can still buy them locally! My DH's mother and grandmother were Polish. Many of their recipes called for a cake of yeast. Many of them don't specify which size cake. Someone on the cooking forum posted a link to Red Star Yeast's website with a chart to help with flour & yeast ratios, which I just now remembered. I do have it saved in my favorites. DMIL's recipe for nut and poppy seed rolls called for a cake of yeast, and she told me to use 2 strips of yeast packets. I knew about souring milk with lemon juice or vinegar, didn't know about the yogurt. Tami

Remember the "Impossible" pie recipes?

Congratulations! Yes, I remember the impossible pumpkin pie. I haven't made any of them, but my niece did, and it was good. As for not making a good pie crust, I'm not my mom. She made wonderful pie crust. Mine tastes good, but I am terrible at rolling them out and getting them in the pie plate. A friend gave me a recipe for a no roll pie crust that is easy, and works well for me, so that is what I use. I do find that it can be a bit salty, so if I make another soon, maybe I will remember to cut the salt back a little. If you want a pie with a top crust, I just use the crumb topping like you would for apple crisp. No Roll Pie Crust 1/2 c canola oil 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 c skim milk. 1 1/2 c flour Combine all in 9" Pie pan. Stir until dough forms a loose ball. Pat out to form a crust. Fill and bake. 475F 8-10 minutes.

I have made this one, and I can say it is pretty darn good.

Coconut pie that makes its own crust.

4 eggs
1/2 cup melted butter
1 1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 cups milk
1 cup coconut
1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Place all the ingredients in a blender, one at a time. Blend until all mixed together.***or do as I did, whisk it until smooth. Pour mixture into a buttered deep dish 10-inch pie pan. Bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes. When done, the crust will be on the bottom.
