1/4 turn shut off with 2 outlets? for dishwasher

I have copper 1/2" out of the wall and it's time to replace the shutoff valve to the faucet.

I need one that has 1/2" compression fitting onto the pipe, then point up 3/8" compression for faucet, but also another 3/8" for the dishwasher to the left. I went to all home centers and can't find one, if they have one, it was not ball valve 1/4 turn. There was 1/4 turn with dual outlets, but the one of the outlet outlet is pointing forward towards the sink which takes up too much space..

My old one is just like what I was looking for, but I can't find it in the 1/4 turn version. Who makes one?

I know I can get a little adapter, but that's a last resort

Brasscraft makes them. Try a plumbing supply business in your area.

Strange, HD sells brasscraft and when it is multi outlet it is also not 1/4 turn. I will try a real plumbing store.

We have tried cleaning, replacing valves three times, and nothing has worked. We have 7stations. Number one stays on unless we shut off the main water line. We finally canceled it and hooked up an irrigation timer (that usually connects to a faucet.) We turn it on manually and the pipe jerks so we know it is working properly. When we turn it off, the pipe jerks so we know water is on and off but Number one is still running. We are at our wits end. Anyone out there who can give us an answer?????

"...just trickling out...." There's your clue. That isn't "pressure" other than gravity acting on what remains in the pipes. Weedmeister is correct. Annoying because it seems to go on forever. When you replace those valves, use 1/4-turn ball-valves. If you use the el-cheapos you just removed you're going round again with frozen valves when you most need to be able to close them. The ball valves cost more but so little more there really isn't any excuse not to buck up and do it right.

"I'm not familiar with what Brickeye is describing but it sounds like a regular compression stop but maybe limited to a quarter turn?" There are a number of manufacturers that are making the quarter turn stops that are NOT ball valves but plain old compression type valves. by using a very slow thread they can get away with a quarter turn to open and close. The penalty is the greater force required to operate the valve.

As long as the plate covers the box and you've not interfered with the mounting, I can't imagine why any sane inspector would complain. The sizes are by custom and the homebuilders around here use oversized ones to cover up their crappy drywall work anyhow. The real downside is your wife griping that none of the fancy plates she wants to get later will fit. It may be better to bite the bullet and move the boxes up a little bit now. There's no practical distance requirement that's going to come into play (the limit is 20" above the countertop).

HD does offer them. Available in brass and chrome. You have to search, since most of the boxes contain multiple styles from valves being looked at and then thrown back in the wrong box. Good Luck

While I see lots of 1/4 turn stops from brass craft, I do not see a double stop in 1/4 turn in their catalog.
