The two-part epoxy that someone mentioned is made by the 3M company. You purchase an applicator and then the D-100 cartridges and mixing nozzles for it. Any good hardwood floor materials dealer should have it all in stock. The cartidges are not cheap...about $10 each. The applicator was about $20 when I bought mine. I don't know what they cost today. You could also use Timbermate floor filler in white oak color. However, I would recommend testing to see how the color out of the box will stain with your chosen stain. Timbermate also is something you get at a flooring materials dealer.

With a fence you have to difine faliure. Will falire mean it dident fall over? Just drive around and look would you define some of the work you see as faliure? if not than you can say it "lasted" 20 years and did not "fail" Fence Guys dont like pt posts because they tend to move around in a rapid nature. To stop this from happening requires more detail then they are willing to do if they even know how or what to do at all. These Guys have there way of doing things and dont put up with being told how to do it in a new way. Puting a raise creet form grade leavel might help out but the post will still move away from the creet leaving a small gap all around. In goes the water and bang bang its the same deal. I like steel posts with pt bolted to them but say wood posts. .40 acq 4x4s set in creet three ft down before the creet wrap 8'' copper flat stock half in the creet half above grade insatalled with copper nails. Copper stops organic growth the more rain,the more the copper leaches,the more it leaches, the more protection. Posts set on 6' centers three 2x6'' pt stringers. Fencing lumber face fastened with construstion adhesive/ss fasteners. A cap rail over the top of the posts and fencing big enough to provide 3/4'' overhang on both sides.Quickley put on a quality finish like twp that contains water/uv/mold protection. Bang Bang you have a 20 year + fence with the normal define of failure. If its not possible to work on the posts in a timely nature wrap them in white woven reusable trash bags. Out of the sun the movement will be cut way down. The frame of the fence done in acq pt but not the fencing cedar/redwood would be good for this but T&G 3/4'' ipe would really be cool. Dont even ask how much I get for doing a project like that. And of course your normal fence outfit rep is going to laugh his ass off just thinking about it. J.
