Supposed to rain later. High in mid-60's. Perfect if you ask me. It's supposed to be 80's by weekend.

A couple of degrees above freezing, they have a lot more snow in London than we have, about 15 mi. southwest. They're talking quite a bit of rain ... but it started to snow a couple of hours ago. That 25 - 50 cm. of snow that someone spoke of, translates into 10 - 20 inches for folks not on metric. I almost got stuck driving out the lane the other day, and was planning to take a heavy run at the bank thrown up by the plough on my return ... ... but the landlord had come and ploughed it all out of the way, so I could drive in the lane, rejoicing. He's really helpful at keeping the snow out of the way. I did get stuck while making a turn in a driveway in the city, a week or so ago, borrowed a shovel to dig myself out ... had told myself some time ago that I should carry a shovel in the car: evidently it was one of those days in which I don't hear (myself) too well. Anyway ... the next day, while leaving my place, I got stuck in the bank kicked up by the county plough at the end of the lane ... and laughed at myself for having neglected to put the said shovel into the car that morning, as I walked back to the shed to get it. It's there now ... and I was glad, this afternoon, as I got stuck again in what appeared to be a small layer of snow at the end of someone's driveway in the city when I was turning to take a friend where he wanted to go. Did a bit of shovelling, tried it again, little movement, so he, a very large guy, got out and pushed ... which got me out. ole jolyful

Last week we were supposed to get a lot of snow (at least 8 inches). We got 4-5". Today we were supposed to get a "dusting". It has been snowing for hours now. I measured it and 30 min. ago and it was 2 1/2" and is supposed to snow heavier later in the day. I have been listening to my police scanner on my Kindle Fire and there are property damage accidents all over town because the roads are slick. Cars in ditches, etc. I only have to drive 3 blocks to get to my volunteer job at the hospital.

It's 86 here in Tyler w/o a cloud in the sky. I sat out on the deck b/c it was so pleasant after all the 100+ days we've had. I have some wind chimes I love to listen to. I've been to work out, and am trying to put this house back in order after being out of commission for a while w/ illness and a hospital stay. Would like to have a maid come clean this place up, but I'm afraid when I opened the door for her, she would run screaming out of the house. LOL So, I'll have to gradually do it myself, and by the time I get to the last room, the first room will need it again. You just can't win!! LOL

Cold and windy. I ran out earlier in jeans and a sweatshirt and was cold. I turned the heat on this morning and left it on. It is 44 right now and 2 days ago it was 85! Supposed to get below 32 tonight and tomorrow night.

Well........from my office window it looks like the sun is shining. Think the temps are in the 60's, but I'm stuck working.:(

Beautiful! Temps going up to 76F

Leaves on the trees are almost out in full, magnolias are blooming and forsythia bushes are bursting yellow sunshine. I think next week if this keeps up my lawn will be awash in dandelions. LOL I think by the weekend I will be mowing the grass, it is getting long.

Oh, I saw my first butterfly today too.

Rained this morning, but it is now about 74 degrees and beautiful!

Saw my first Oriole for the year! He's been drinking at the hummingbird feeder, so I set a orange out for him.

Gorgeous day! 70's, low humidity. DH is powerwashing the walkways, and I shampooed the carpet. About ready to drop now.

It's 64Â° right now. Sun is shining. I was doing a little yard work, but not a lot. I'll go out a little later and do some more. I've felt crappy all night and today too. Either a cold or alergies.
