I've been lurking on this forum for some time.

This is my first attempt at posting pics. These are pics of the process of building our pool. If this works, I'll post some updates soon.

Thanks, Viking has a limited lifetime warranty--you could probably go to their website for more details. Gunite was not even a choice for us--just too expensive in our area. I'm assuming since we have such a short swim season and our freezes during the winter, they just don't build the elaborate gunite pools that often here and that's why they are so costly.

Nice looking pool. Question about the TV... Is that something you bring out to watch, then bring back inside when you are done? Or do you have some sort of waterproofing? We got a projector with plans to project onto something while in the pool, but don't yet have something good to project on that works when it is not night time...

@andi_k We’re building a pool in Ashburn this Feb/Mar and thinking about having a Paradise slide installed as part of the project. After having it for 6+ years, are you still happy with the slide? Would you have done anything different in regards to the slide? Just trying to decide if the spend is worth it, once the novelty of the slide wears off for our boys. Thanks in advance for your inputs and thoughts. Love the whole project btw.

Thanks! We have I think around 600 sq feet of concrete, the largest area comes out about ten feet from the pool. Its kinda freeform, following the pools curves, plus the tan color blends the concrete to the waterfall. The pool is a Viking rockport. We also had him pour our cement pad for the shed at the same time, since it was so cheap, like $4.90 a sq ft. Poolwebber as to the pro's and con's of concrete our main issue was concrete was CHEAPER. Its con is cracking, and we did have one major crack that actually transversed the control joint over last winter that the builder had to rip out and re-pour. Brick pavers would have been our first choice if cost was no option, esp since if you have a piping problem you can just pull the brick up and drop it back in when your finished. It all comes down to personal preference, what you think looks good, and how much $$ you have in your wallet!

Nice looking pool! To get your photos to show up, you have to tag it a special way. I can't type it here because it tries to convert the text into an image, so instead I'll post one of your pictures and then you can select "View" on the top menu bar and drag down to "source". It will show you the raw text for this message and if you find the photo name you can see the tags that are needed to get the photo to show up.

Your pool looks great. I'm sure you and your daughter will enjoy it this summer!

I couldn't quite tell, is the small section in the lower right steps to get out of the pool?

Yes, the photo that tresw posted is from the roof of our house. The left is the tanning deck with steps going in to the shallow end. The small cut out on the right is the "swim out" and steps from the deep end. I'll try to post updated pics when the weather clears up. It's a rainy day in Georgia.
