New build Natural Style Pool NJ with East Coast Pool Concpets
Comments (32)jhmjr, Sorry for the delayed response. I actually made a completely different thread for the final product. Here are the pics and a youtube video for you: We opened up the Pool June 24th, and thouroughly enjoyed the pool the entire summer. East Coast Pool Concepts out of Manalapan NJ did an incredible job from start to finish. I would HIGHLY recommend them for anyone considering a pool in NJ/NY/PA area. I cannot say enough about the quality job these guys did, the attention to detail, and the follow up. Even after the job was done, and I finished my payments, they were still checking up with me and stopping by to make sure all was going well. They build a great pool, they are great to work with and they stand by their work. Here is a youtube video of our pool: Natural Style Pool CNJ by East Coast Pool Concepts Here are the completed pics of our pool: Here is the before pic:...See MoreCan Pool Chemistry Cause Extreme Chalking of Fiberglass Pools Gel
Comments (3)Any high levels of chalking is indicative of very low calcium. Don't be surprised if the ladder treads break. Bring the calcium level to 200 ppm and hopefully, some restoration will occur. Unfortunately, once it comes off, it can't go back on, but maintaining proper calcium levels and keeping the pH in check (consistent high pH will result in calcium "drop out") can prevent further damage. Keep brushing with a nylon brush and if you've balance the water, it should be filtered out in a week or so....See MoreDarker Pool Finishes do make a difference
Comments (24)We are in Yorba Linda, Southern California and have Stonescapes Aqua Blue Mini. Today air temperature was 92 but like cdclw, our pool water is only 75. We live on a hill and have a lot of nice breeze however, it's not conducive for swimming. For those of you in the Inland Empire (California) or Florida where there's high temp and high humidity, I'm sure you'd welcome 75 degrees water temp. For us, if the breeze doesn't stop or if the water doesn't warm up to at least 80, we're going to have to invest in solar or wetsuits. LOL We are so envious that many of you have been swimming for the past several weeks. We had to heat up our pool to 90 degrees on Memorial Day weekend just to be comfortable because air temp was only high 70's and we had a ton of wind!...See MoreBest Fiberglass Window Companies Northern NJ?
Comments (4)I would seriously consider looking at Starmark Windows. they are a cellular composite window and have much better performance numbers than any fiberglass window. By performance, i am referring to the structural number, the total Ufactor, and the air infiltration number. the total Ufactor on a Starmark double hung is .24 i believe. starmark is made by okna. You can probably google starmark windows nj or something similar i would imagine. the only fiberglass window i would ever consider would be the Marvin Infinity NOT the integrity which is cheap looking and flimsy. The Starmark still destroys the marvin infinity from a performance perspective and its better priced. stay away from pella fiberglass, its pure garbage and extremely flimsy in my opinion with a horrible air infiltration rating....See Morepilotjoe
