Grammahoney got me started going to CJ Banks, they have really cute in style clothes for the larger woman. Also when I was in FL visiting my folks I went to the Bealls store and their outlets and got some really cute summer clothes.

Grammahoney, they now have a CJ Banks in the Phoenix area.

Mostly thrift stores if they are clothes to work in - painting, cleaning, yardwork doesn't require anything designer-ish...lol.
If I am actually going to buy something new to not wear to work I will go to Zeller's or Walmart. I am too cheap to shop anywhere else.

Talbots, they have petite. I like Ann Taylor but there isn't one within 200 miles of here.

I do most of my shopping at Beall's because they have such good sales. I never pay full price for anything there. I also shop some at Penny's. Those are the only two stores close enough to me (30 miles). I do want to start shopping at Kohl's but they are 45 miles away. I also buy some jeans and casual at WalMart.

I'm another who buys most of my work clothes at Anne Taylor Loft.

Ross Dress For Less fills in the blanks, and I can often find comfy shoes there (Aerosoles, Clarks).

I had good luck finding blouses at the J.C. Penney after Christmas sale this year, and usually get some of my undies there too.

I'll shop anywhere. I found awesome sales at JCPenney, Sears and Dillards in early March. I bought several nice clothes and outfits for 75-95% off. Coldwater Creek has some really nice clothes that compliment my body. Macy's sometimes has good sales. I fill in some of the blanks at Wal-Mart and Kohl's. I'm not very happy with the quality of the clothes I usually find there for the adults. I buy more of the kid's throwaway outfits that they use for playclothes.

I like Kohl's the best but have to drive 1 1/2 hours to find one so only shop at one when we visit our sons. Guess what, a Kohl's is opening 20 minutes from me on Wednesday. I got a 30% coupon in the mail for the grand opening. Guess who will be there. LOL The problem is I don't really need anything, but have to use that 30% coupon. Look at the money I will "SAVE".

Beall's and Steinmart mostly. I just bought a dress from Talbot's (on-line) for a wedding in July. It was marked down from $178 to $52. It's really cute--polished cotton and has a ramie/cotton shrug and is fully-lined.

We don't have Kohl's anyplace around here. I liked the one we went to in Atlanta. Nice stuff!

Talbots and Lands End (which is now part of Sears). When I was thinner I liked Brooks Brothers (we live near one of the outlets). I can't wait to be thin enough to shop there and at Ralph Lauren again!

For new clothes I buy from Ross (like Marshalls or TJ Max elsewhere), undies I get from Kmart or Target. And I will admit I get a lot from thrift stores. I have bought lots of beautiful designer label clothes there for pennies on the dollar, some even had the tags still attached. We are such a throw away society.

Unless my size changes or I wear out my jeans I don't need new clothes very often. I have a LLBean store near me and that's where I buy jeans, my favorites are only 29.99, sometimes I'll buy sweaters and t shirts there too.

Macy's and Coldwater Creek for dressier things as needed. Plus I have lots of outlets near- Jones New York, Ann Taylor, Saks Off Fifth, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Ralph Lauren. It's a shame that I don't like to go clothes shopping because I have so many places I could go.

I attended a viewing yesterday. I didn't get very dressed up (off-white turtleneck, tan pants, camel coat, natural stone jewelry), but several people told me I looked great. (I don't think they were just being charitable, although you never know.)

I thought, Hmm . . . Salvation Army top, Salvation Army pants, eBay coat, eBay jewelry, and Walmart shoes. Not bad!

Oh, and eBay bra. :-)

CJ Banks for me. Thanks Nita for letting me know they are now in the Phoenix area. Mom and I just got back about an hour ago, from one in Omaha. BIG sale going on. 40% off entire store. I blew/spent $145.00, but now have enough spring/summer things. 2 pr. of capris and 4 tops, to add to the things I bought last spring/summer.
I really want to buy some stock in that place.

Garage sales, thrift shops and Wal Mart. Have to drive a minimum of 50 miles to even get to a Pennys or a 100 mi. for the other places, and with gas prices, no way.

Mostly thrift stores for me, too. There are dozens around here, and if you have patience, you can find really nice, almost new, excellent quality clothes for a tiny fraction of what they would cost new.

Terilyn, I am a shoe nut (it's hard to find great shoes second-hand, but it DOES happen). Would you PLEASE post a picture of your Jimmy Choo's? They're all so bee-oo-tee-ful.

Nordstrom, Victoria Secret, Coldwater Creek, Boscov's for slacks (they have a store brand (Rafaella) whose petite slacks fit me perfectly)and Brooks Brothers. Eddie Bauer and Lands End for super casual. Shoes are from Clark's, Nordstrom or Weitzman store.
I used to get some casual stuff at Kohl's, but their quality has gone down the chute.

We have so many stores around here, it's almost a part time job just keeping up with what's new.

Monica, the reason I shop at Steinmart is because they carry petite Rafaella slacks. I have four pairs in three colors. Perfect fit, wonderfull material.

The dumpster behind the thrift shop and yard sales. Rarely, the thrift shop. They throw away better clothes than they have in the store.

It is difficult for me to get to a store so I order from TOG and Appleseed..love both.

mainly at the Goodwill. If I get giftcards for special occasions, I ask that they be for Cotton Ginny Plus or Penningtons. I always love a good bargain and find some great ones at the GW. I want to buy from Lane Bryant catalogue but can't order from Canada, trust me I have tried. When I go to the States, I like to shop at Dress Barn.

In brick and mortar places, I shop at Macy's and Stein Mart. Online, it's Penney's, Coldwater Creek, Land's End, and Ebay. I also get lots of bargains, sometimes NWT, at garage sales and consignment sales.

I work very P/T for J.Jill, so many of my clothes are from there. Anything else is from TJ Maxx and Marshalls. Sometimes Old Navy. I refuse to pay a lot for my clothes!

Eddie Bauer for my jeans they have long, Macy's for everything else. I hate to shop for clothes,I'd rather go to the nursery and buy plants!!

Well my aunt (the shopaholic) just gave me a bunch of jeans so I won't need more until I am dead or thin.

Mostly Goodwill. I bought 4 tees while in Texas since I am in them the most working with the horses.

Well I just finish having lunch with my daughter and we were right next to a Cotton Ginny store, I told her I was going to run in real quick to see if they have anything good. Walked out with 4 pairs of pants and 2 sweaters. Total cost?? $21.00. They were having a end of season sale. Man, I love a bargain!!!!!!!
