With tiled sides I'll usually use magnets to hold the access panel in place. Depends on the tile, the design, and if the design allows an access panel to be hidden in plain site. If the access panel really can;t be hidden in the field tile , then sometimes I've installed the field tile, grouted it, then installed the access panel, and caulked it with color and texture matched caulk. If the motor ever needs to be accessed, a utility knife can be used to cut the caulk and remove the access panel. And as always, there are other options. Depends on the design. I always prefer an easy opening access panel versus something that requires effort and possible repair. Mongo

On my GE Profile, the minute timer is labeled Kitchen Timer (and is subtitled On/Off) and the timed baking function is Cooking Time. Setting the minute timer is matter of pressing Kitchen Timer, entering the time. Press Start to trigger it immediately, or press nothing else and it'll start after a few seconds delay. Pressing the separate Cancel/Off button turns off the timer, and the oven, if the set time has elapsed to beeping ... which is a logical function being as one would reasonably want to turn the oven off at end of the minute timer cycle. Otherwise, press Kitchen Timer when the time has elapsed to shut off the beeping without affecting the oven. If the time is not elapsed, press Kitchen Timer once to pause it (as if to reset the time), then press a 2nd time to cancel the timer.

I have never bought from this dealer until this set of SQ's...when I bought this washer its the first time I had ever been in that store. I have already contacted Speed Queen 4 times, long and lenghtly conversations..my last call they flat out told me that that once the machine goes to the store and I buy it all issues are the dealers responsability. He wasn't rude about it in fact he said it sounds like I've a lemon on my hands and in his opinion a new replacement should be given to me BUT I have to go thru the proper channels to accomplish that. I have to speak to my dealer and he has to speak to the repair man who has to tell him what parts have been replaced yet a problem still exists and he doesn't know what the problem is....I have spoken to the dealer....this is where my problem is..the repairman says he can fix my machine and the dealer already knowing the parts replaced and the new ones ordered chooses to believe the repairman knows what he's doing...in otherwards the dealer bought the machine from SQ..I bought it from the dealer...SQ won't help me but they will help the dealer..the dealer won't ask SQ for help and SQ won't help me because I didn't buy it from them...sounds to me like SQ found a nice loop hole...a way to get out of helping us consumers. I am writing letters..and I am calling SQ back tomorrow...I'm also going into the dealers tomorrow. I am able to use the washer..kind of. It spins out if it feels like it. It often goes into spin and just at the point where it should pick up speed it slows down almost to a stop. I wait awhile turn it back to spin and try again..yes I've got some done but its piling up majorly.

mjsee, it appears you just can't let go of that color - isn't that a salmon colored sweater you are wearing in your beautiful gray bathroom? Salmon does flatter all skin tones. Your gray bathroom is really lovely. I guess my biggest regret, here at my everyday house, is caving in and not insisting on enlarging the shower stall in the MB. The stupid tile guy said, in front of DH: "oh, that would be expensive to change."!! Idiot - it would be more $$ for him but I guess he wasn't interested in the job. For my own use the shower stall is fine but it would be nice a smidgen larger. In our 2nd home I wish I wouldn't have picked that particular window tmt on the LR slider wall. I love all the other WT so one regret isn't bad. I've never admitted this to anyone. I don't want to bring their attention to something that they wouldn't notice - or care about - until I point it out. So as far as you know, I LOVE everything about the condo. Got it?
