Your tile looks like mine (on my monitor - although your wall above looks gray to me, not brown mud). I used French White. It's not white, but rather a beige with no undertones and goes well with the tile. I've never seen it mentioned on this forum, but it has worked very well for me. It's not dark, but not too light.

Actually, if I owned this house the darker color would be fine and believe me, I would dump that crappy orange oak cabinet and medicine cabinet too. Since this is a rental, I am hoping to choose colors that will not require me to repaint the place before I leave. Right now I am thinking I may choose BM Adobe Beige and get that cut to 50%. I sure would appreciate others ideas. I have to say my black towels look good with this dark shade. Thanks again.

Hmmm... the first pics look off white. The last pics look pretty. How about living with it for a few days and see if it grows on you?

Try looking at a swatch of Benjamin Moore Brandy Cream.

I like it and it looks great with the tile. Once the room is back in order and accessories in place, it'll all come together.

I think the color looks fine. Our master bathroom has maple cabinets, Uba Tuba granite (looks black but is very dark green) on the counters and all around the bath tub and the entire shower. We had the bathroom painted with BM's Lady Finger, #1045.

Thanks very much. Maybe I might keep the color for now and repaint it white or pale beige before I leave. The color is my mix of EK Adobe with EK Taupe - leftover paint.

What I will need to do is use the 5 light bulbs versus the one I am using now. Ok, back to painting. But I will look at all the BM colors you suggest. My local Ace carries BM paint.

Try changing your light bulbs to the GE reveal bulbs. They give off a cleaner, clear light. Could alleviate the need to repaint.

I think it looks great too. I think this is another case of(and I wish I could think of a clever name for it because I seem to have it BIG TIME and it is getting worse).. panic/auto rejecting the new even when it is exactly what we want and looks good.
I have a similar post about bathroom help... and my vanity top looks similar to yours with the toilet paper, paint cans, etc. and the color I did try, a pale blue, honestly honestly looks like white. But really, not because it is new, because it really was wrong. See? Only mine is really bad.

I used BM Shaker Beige. I painted a dark part of the house (doesn't get much natural light), and it's a very nice light beige (no greens).

You might try BM Monroe Bisque. It's a nice beige with maybe a little gold undertone.

I looked at the paint this morning and it still seems dark although I know the lighting will help. The darker color will look great with all the black tile accents and art. I am not found of that orange fake oak vanity and mirror, you know? But maybe the darker color will de-emphasize the mirror rather than higlight it. I have to paint more tonight. Thank goodness I have 2 baths in this house. The 2nd one is even smaller than this one and a dark paint in that room would be much worse. That one stays white. So I will think on this 1st bath to see if I can stand the dark shade (which is only this dark here). Thanks for the suggestions. I will be taking my BM paint fan deck with me everywhere now. LOL. If you don't like it after a few days of living with it, you could overglaze it with a lighter version of the color. That way, you'd keep the original color intent, but lighten it up.

Thanks! I like that BM Brandy Cream a lot. I also like the one just below it on the strip - Carlisle Cream. Anyone ever use that shade?

I am familiar with Shaker Beige but that's too dark also and the gold undertones may overpower the tile. I do love Shaker Beige though and I have used it before in the last house.

I don't have the HC fandeck so I could not look at Monroe Bisque. Thanks for the suggestions!

Thanks very much! Brandy Cream is very nice. I ended up buying a gallon of the next color down from Brandy Cream called Carlisle Cream. I hope to paint this weekend.

Yeah, every morning I look in and think - too dark! The Carlisle Cream is close to the tile color and will make the room seem larger by making it more cohesive.
