I'd probably live right here in Missouri since most of my and DH's families live here...but you can bet I'd have a second home somewhere warm and tropical.

I would have more than one place of residence....Ottawa in the spring and fall, perhaps here in Newfoundland in the summer and somewhere warm in the winter....possibly Bermuda or the south of France. Of course I would be traveling a lot so I wouldn't spend much time at either home.

Probably in the Bahamas. I'd keep this house, too, though. All my pets are happy here. I guess the cats would like the sandy beaches, though! lolol

I'd live right here where I've lived all my life. But I'd also have a nice big home (extra bedrooms for kids and company) in Arizona, close to Phoenix where a lot of my work buddies have gone full time. They do come back here in the summer for 6 weeks to 2 months, in their RV's.

I think, I would have a winter house somewhere in southern Arizona, or maybe Texas, a summer house at Lake Erie, Canadian side and a spot someplace in Germany. :)

But Sandy, realize, I want to have the funds to do the traveling to all those houses as well.

PS, I would keep a small house right around here as well.

I'd have a home in Crested Butte, Colorado for my oldest daughter and a beach house for youngest daughter and son. I'd stay right here for the rest of the time and travel like crazy!!

I would have a huge house on the beach at the Jersey Shore.

I would live in western North Carolina. I love it there.

Moni, have you been to southern Ontario? Just wondering if you have, and where you visited, since you said you'd have a house on the Canadian side of Lake Erie (where I live).

I would have two homes. The main one would probably be in Ashland, Oregon and my warm retreat would be in Hawaii.

I'd stay right here, adding a dining room onto our house. I'd also have a house on Mt. Desert Island in Maine, and one somewhere in northern Italy.

I would live in Maine, in a big old victorian house, high up on a craggy hill over looking the Atlantic ocean. I would have afternoon tea out on the widows walk in the afternoon, weather permitting. Vique. Oh, and I would have a black Great Dane to keep me company.

If I were independently wealthy, I would live in various places for different parts of each year - I wouldn't stay in one location year-round. I'd have homes on the island of Kauai (Hawaii), overlooking Lake Como (Italy), in Villa Santo Stefano (Italy), as well as three or four in various places in the continental United States.

I would stay right where I am, but would have a second home in Michigan near our daughter and grandkids.

I have no idea where I would stay put, maybe here until Lauren grew up and went off to college. Then I'd build a cabin in Montana for the summers and maybe have another house outside of Tucson AZ for the Winter. I guess I'm missing the West. I'd also go visit for long periods of time: Japan, Germany and Italy.

I would stay just where I am. I feel sure that DH feels the same way. He's lived all over the southern part of the U.S., and has traveled a lot, but loves it here.

I'd stay put, too. But I would buy my daughter a bigger home.

I'd stay put too but would have a nicer house with a nice front porch and a cottage in the Muskoka's.
