This was asked just recently. I think someone said $11 a sq ft. Plus shipping. (I'm looking at their squares.) I think they said it goes up to about $15, not sure if that's by color or what. They said it was $25 to ship about 12 sq ft to the east coast. But you don't need a contractor, or duplicity. They have a helpful e-mail link that they actually answer in about a day. Tell them what you're looking at, eyeball the square footage, ask for prices, shipping charges, local dealers, etc. Even if you have to do the math yourself, it's fine. They DO actually want to sell you tile!

I had to look up photos of your style stove to see the fin you removed. I hadn't focused on that detail before. I admire all the elbow grease you put into your stove. I took my stove apart, with dreams of doing the full rehab but then time intervened and I realized (after a 2x failure at getting a tub refinished) that I wasn't sure the effort and money would be worth it in the end. In addition I am not a perfectionist so we will clean up the pieces, touch up the rust spots and put the thing back together. I balked at dismantling it to the point of replacing the insulation. The O'K&M is in better shape than my circa 1996 Whirlpool electric stove which is definitely not build to last. I am looking forward to using the Grillevator, if only to make sandwich melts. You will have to share your recipes and Grillevator success stories with me (and what size pans you can use in the oven). I have thought that the smaller oven would enforce good portion control. No more half size sheet pans of roasted potatoes, etc... The O'K&M is the perfect symbol of the type of cook I want to be -- the kind who got dinner on the table with little fanfare day in and day out, year after year. I'm a far cry from that these days. I have dreams of getting my kitchen done by Thanksgiving or Christmas and becoming the new me. I've had this stove for at least 8 years now, and probably dreamed of a functional kitchen for almost double that. I keep toying with the idea of putting a single induction unit by the O'K & M but I am stymied by the available selections, the cost of the units, and whether it would disrupt my 'work zone' next to the stove.

hi there! Yes, my main faucet is a Moen Aberdeen in copper that I scored on eBay a few years ago; I don't think they make this copper finish any more? The water filter faucet is also a Moen, in same finish. The prep sink is a Kohler Essex faucet in "Vibrant Brazen Bronze" (...from the Department of Redundant Finish Names Department). The darker color is actually a much better choice for the counters, because it resonates without trying to imitate. Any finish which is not actual solid copper just looks cheesy against the real stuff. (The Moen looks a little cheesy, I sometimes think. But I just couldn't bring myself to do a bridge faucet, because of the vintage preciousness factor. Ah well.) I love the Essex and the finish is great. My one wish in life is that Kohler would produce this same style with a pull-down head. I'm very enamored of the paddle handles. My fridge only came in stainless and no guest has ever screamed that their eyeballs are burning. At least not because of that. We have a raised ranch with brick veneer on the bottom and vinyl siding above. Our roofline is different, so it doesn't look quite so raised-ranch-ish. Our siding is a yellowish cream color with brick red shutters that complement the brick. But with your gray roof, I don't know if that combination would work for your house (our roof is brown). Definitely think about removing that archway and widening the front entry. A portico would be a good addition as well.
