I buy whatever is on sale has a coupon.

I use the Dove unscented. It sort of has a little scent, but doesn't bother me, and I am very sensitive to them! Washes off well for me.

I use Oil of Olay, I don't like scented products and this is not heavily scented. I am using the one with shea butter I think (yellow cover). It does not leave a residue.

Thanks, Tami. I too am allergic to so many scents. I've been using Forever Spring but it's so expensive, only available online AND shipping is high. I've been wanting to try something else but hate the 'trial and error'. I'll ck this one out.

monica -- When you say the Aveeno leaves 'no scum in bath', do you mean bath *tub*? I seldom shower; use airjet tub.

Hee-hee, I just remembered I have a $5 coupon from Johnson & Johnson I can use for Aveeno products!

I've been using St. Ives for years (mostly Lavender scent) and found that nothing compares when I've tried different washes. It's inexpensive too and a little goes a long way.

Why "body wash" and not bar soap?

I totally agree about St. Ives. I love the oatmeal and shea butter version but all are good. Great quality for a low price and like debi said, a little goes a long way. I usually pick it up at Wal-Mart or Walgreens.

Bar soap leaves scum. Until we started using liquid washes I never realized that. All those years I was not removing 'grime' when I scrubbed the shower, I was mostly removing soap scum.

Try Dove, my dermatologist recommends that for skin problems. I don't use body washes, it's to easy to use to much.

Yes, I meant no scum on the bathtub. Aveeno contains no soap product, and contains oatmeal.

I've used Dove soap since I was a child.

I used Dove unscented bar soap until I found the Dove unscented body wash. I like it very much. It doesn't irritate my very dry skin and only has a light scent which is good as far as my allergies go.

I buy the cheap white rain body wash, all day moisturizing. Its usually only $1 and it smells good to me, not strong like the others.

I was in Walgreens today and bought one of the Olay body washes because it 1) came in a larger size; and 2) smelled the least offensive of those on the shelf.

I've been using Dove but find a little slimey. I'm afraid it will make me slip in the shower. I usually use whatever I have, have been gifted, or buy. I might try Aveeno, though.

St.Ives Energizing Citrus...mild scent, fresh, clean smelling, and again no scum to muck up the new slate shower!

I love anything Aveeno! I like the St. Ives Oatmeal too.

Burt's Bee's is a good one to try. Nice scent, and all natural.

I use Bath and Body washes. I like most all the fragrances except cucumber.

I prefer bar soap. I never really felt clean after using a body wash.

One of the KTers once sent me a bottle of Philosophy during a swap. I really loved it when I wasn't feeling too dirty. It had a light pleasant scent and a great feel. If I were going to start using one I would definitely use that one. The drugstore washes have always left me feeling slimy and I ended up throwing them out.

My doctor recommends Dial antibacterial bodywash for summer. I love the lavendar/jasmin scented one. It also washes off clean and doesn't leave a residue.

I've been useing the Oil of Olay with the ribbon. It is great moisturizing for my body, but it also leaves the shower coated.

I think I'm going to give the Aveeno a try. I love their lotion.

We have a water softener, and I use an after-use shower cleaner spray on the walls, and we get no soap scum, thank goodness. So I'll keep using bar soap.

sushipup -- I can't use those shower cleaning sprays at all. They activate my usually dormant asthma something fierce.

Bath & Body or SoftSoap.

The Body Shop "Shea Body Cream". A bit pricey but a little bit goes a long way if you use one of those shower scrubby things. It is fantastic for dry skin and it has the most heavenly fragrance. Now that's almost summer, I use The Body Shop "Coconut" shower gel/cream, along with the coconut body butter. I get so many compliments and strangers ask me what fragrance I'm wearing. It smells like the beach, but better. I'm smelling it right now, lol, it's soooooooooooo nice. I wear the coconut perfume oil as well.

Big plus is that the bathroom smells great all day.

Neutragena or Walmart's brand of baby wash. I wish some of the name brands, like Dove and Dial, would make their body washes smell like their bar soaps. I don't like the strong smells of most of the body washes.

Just to report that I seem to have struck a winner on my first try. It is Olay "Daily Purifying" body wash. Nice light scent, and washes off completely. Perfect for me!

Another vote for Dial antibacterial. But I used to love any of the washes made by Avon. Just haven't seen a catalog in a while. My old Avon Lady moved away.

Does anyone else remember the Vitabath products? I used to love them when I was a teen.
