To all my KT friends---

I cannot thank you all enough for all the comforting messages. As I said on my Facebook, death is hard, but losing a child is practically unbearable. We're going along one minute at a time. When we went to my brothers home after her service, many, many friends and family were there. The MOST beautiful rainbow appeared, you could see it from one end to the other. I had the most comforting feeling that she was trying to tell us she was ok. I had never seen such a beautiful rainbow. Everyone was outside commenting on it and it's significance. Truly amazing. I'll try to post a link to her facebook page. Again, thank you all!!!

Here is a link that might be useful: Rachel's Rainbow

    Jamie:

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings with us these last few incredibly difficult days. I can see what a special and well loved person Rachel was.

I'm glad God sent that special rainbow just for you and your family!!! At some point, when you spot another rainbow, your heart will flutter and you'll smile with very fond memories of your wonderful daughter.

Please keep posting whenever you need or want to do so!

You've experienced a tragic loss. A parent never expects to outlive a child, but sadly, it does happen.

I went to Rachel's Facebook page. What wonderful comments her friends and family have left for her. She obviously was a much-loved young woman and will be forever missed by those who knew her.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family,
    Mona

Jamie, thank you for posting about your feelings and about Rachel's rainbow. Having lost our son two years ago, May 3rd, I know the heart ache and the day we laid our daughter-in-law to rest last June, we too, saw a rainbow and said it was her saying I'm OK and I'll see you again someday. God Bless you and your family. I pray your heart can find a soft place to land. Dottie

I truly believe we get signs from heaven and that rainbow was a sign that Rachel has arrived safely and is now watching you from above...It doesn't make it any better cause you want her here...I am sooo truly sorry for your loss Jamie...may you soon find some sort of peace and comfort in your life...in the meantime know that we all love you and wish we could make some of your pain go away...My heart hurts so bad for you...

Jamie, I'm so glad you're open to signs from Rachel. I have good reason to believe in them, as I've been blessed with many from my daughter. I'm sure Rachel is still very much around.

Jamie, you and your family have been in my thoughts every day. Somehow you will survive this. Loved to her about the rainbow! I think you are exactly right about that.

(((Jamie))) I have been praying that you'd get a ADC (after-death communication) from Rachel that could give you some comfort. I believe you got one! I hope you get many more signs from your sweet daughter.

I can't see the rainbow picture, but as soon as I read about seeing the rainbow, my first thought is that she's telling you that she's now in a place where she can see the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

May His peace keep you always.

How comforting that rainbow must have been for you.

The day we buried my 1st husband was a dreary, rainy, January day. It was not stormy. At the end of the graveside service it thundered one time. Everyone took that as a sign that everything was going to be ok. Funny how these things happen.

    Keeping you in my thoughts.

Jamie, you have been in my thoughts and prayers all week. I am so glad the rainbow brought you such comfort. I am a true believer in signs and have received many from those that have passed.

From now on when I see a rainbow I will forever think of Rachel.

    Hugs to you!

YOu have been in my thoughts.

Jamie, you have also been in my thoughts all week, and I hope that you are finding comfort from friends and family (including KT) and signs that Rachel is watching down on you. I know that if I had seen that rainbow, I would have known it was my baby. Rachel was a much loved young woman, and I can't believe that love was not returned in force, even now. Be strong.

I woke up thinking about you today, Jamie. You can be sure the rainbow was a sign from Rachel.

Jamie, I don't post very often but you and your family have been on my mind all week. Please know that you are in my prayers. We are all here for you and I am glad that you are able to open up to us. Hugs to you!!! I can only imagine the loss you are feeling.

You have also been on my mind. I love the rainbow by the way. I also saw one the day I was told my Mom passed when I was 13. I have never ever seen another rainbow like it. I hope that you will get just a glimmer of comfort with every one you see.

    (((((Pookie)))))

I'm so glad you saw that rainbow, because it will forever give you comfort. Rachel was such a special child and I know your heart is broken.

This is so hard. Try to hang in there, Jamie. Time will help. I'm just so sorry for your loss.

I also think the rainbow was her way of letting you know she's ok.

MY bff lost her son almost 2 years ago and she was telling me that quite often the ceiling fan will come on in his room.I told her that was his way of letting her know he was ok and watching over her.
I really believe we do get these signs from those who have passed and they are/can be very comforting.
