Happy New Year KT

To all my KT friends:

I don't know yet what I will do, either TV, or route planning for my next bicycle adventure. Maybe both.

I am letting Jerry do what he likes this year. LOL, last year we went to a party at a friend of mine, the year before we went to a party of cycling friends.

2005 he wanted to go home early, and we did, but 2006 we were some of the last to leave. I guess, this is only right if I let him turn in as early as he normally does. :)

Ours was utterly quiet, although not unpleasant :). Both kids were off doing their own NYE celebration so the house was nice and calm. We ate dinner, chatted, then he went to sleep early and I read for awhile. Boring? Maybe but also a moment to cherish being secure in our lives and with so much for which to be grateful. Happy New Year to you, too! To take more pictures. There really is something to having an annual video diary of the garden. The Juniperus scopulorum I planted as 6 inch seedlings in 09 are now 5 - 6 feet tall. I have an apricot I planted as a 2 ft whip 2 years ago that's now approaching 8 ft. These are wins I should celebrate more! Last night I downloaded a couple of maps of champion tree tours in nearby towns. I plan to visit them over time. I'm hoping that will help me learn to work smarter, not harder by choosing trees that will grow here. And yes, worry less! I think that's on my list every year. Barb

Yes ravencajun, sjerin & Sue-va, thanks for the kind words and yes, it is I, it is me, Pompero Fir, uh, well, been kind of busy dealing with a number of things so not a lot of time to stop by for more than a cursory look. Hoping to stop around a little more often as time allows. Also a belated thanks for all the emails and stuff. Wish I would have had the time to respond to all but it was heartwarming. I'll be poking my nose in as time permits. :)

mine is upstairs watching WAR movies...the kids are gone...I don't know if we'll pop a cork or not...both of us can get a buzz just SMELLIN the cork so most likely I'll be playing on the puter or watchin the telly in the basement..may some gin rummy is in order!

Happy New Year to you Moni and to all KTers. I just cooked some chocolate pudding and scorched it. It smelled the house up something awful. What a way to end the year..
I hope I do better tomorrow with the hoppin john and turnip greens.

I don't know what I'll be doing come midnight DH and I went to see National Treasure (very very good) earlier and now we're readin'& listenin' to the boob tube I'll prolly be asleep before the clock chimes, I tell ya the older I get the more exciting I don't get lolol.

Happy New Year! I hope everyone has a wonderful 2008.

We were just watching tv or playing on the computer. I tried to let the kids stay up, but they didn't all make it. They lost the privelege due to bickering. They get mean to each other when they're tired!
