Alot Im spring cleaning dining room...cleaner,furniture oil, mail, rags

A hurricane vase with a candle inside, and yesterdays mail, my glasses.

Don't have a "dining room", so it is the kitchen table here. There is always a table cloth and 4 placemats on it. This morning there is also 2 Pittsburgh maps and the GPS. Dh is taking a friend to Pittsburgh tomorrow for a doctor appointment.

I absolutely hate clutter on my table. DH and I are always at odds over this trivial thing. He clutters, I remove. After a week or so when I cannot stand whatever he has left there any longer, I will put it all where it belongs and he will contend that he wasn't done using it. To him, if he just might need it again in the next 100 years, the table where he left it last is where he should find it

A vase of freshly picked azaleas that sits on a silver trivet.

my dayplanner/organizer and a couple of magazines. No table cloth, I took it off to wash, and didn't put another on yet.

Some kind of centerpiece thing that holds a candle, and my laptop. It was a mess yesterday morning, but I cleared everything off so the cleaning lady could make it look pretty. *S*

A hurricane type vase thing, with a candle inside of it.

A wooden bowl of grapefruit, a stack of Medicare stuff, the New York Times crossword puzzle, and my wool cutter, which I just got back from being repaired.

Guess I need to clear off the table. :-)

A pretty spring tablecloth, and (in the middle of the table) a basket containing small procelain houses, accessories, grass, and figurines depicting a mini bunny town!

A tapestry runner and a wicker basket of fake red and green apples.

No dining room here, either. I have a wooden footed tray with our condiments, etc., on it, like sugar, S & P, vitamins, napkins and holder, soy sauce, and cinnamon. It keeps it all corraled nicely. I always keep a tablecloth on the table, too.

My laptop and DH's music books.

A runner, two candlesticks and a blooming African violet

Don't have a dining room table or kitchen table. Have a move-able island instead. And on the island right now is my 4 cats' food plates (have to keep them up so the dog don't eat their food) and the mail from yesterday.

A bowl of fruit and the kids school books.

An Easter Lily that still has 2 blooms on it. And a few cat hairs I imagine. (Kitchen table/no dining room)

Good grief, I can hardly see mine for all the clutter!!!

This mornings newspaper, two placemats and my bible

No dining table, I got rid of it because it became a junk collector. Now, I have a small
desk in one corner of the dining room which is now the junk collector but I do keep on it.

A Spring tablecloth and a plant with clusters of bright flowers.

Mine is usually kept clear except for a bouquet of flowers in the center. I used to keep place mats there also, but Luther has a tendency to take them off the table and if he isn't caught doing so he will take them to the back yard.
Right now I have a circular saw, a saw blade I'm trying to figure out how to put on the saw, a basket full of junk that was under the coffee table. I put it there to clean it out. A pencil I used to work this morning's Sudoku puzzle. It's not a pretty sight.

No dining room table, but the kitchen table has a basket (full of papers and mail), newpapers, 3 placemats, salt and pepper shakers and a napkin holder.

A lovely yellow, red and green plaid vinyl tablecloth. (The first beacon of good taste!)

Several cans of paint. (Adds more color.)

    A yellow paint cup.

Several used paint stirrers, sitting on a paper bag. (Shows a love of art!)

A lazy susan which hold salt and pepper shakers, sugar bowl, hot-shot pepepr, vitamin bottle sitting on a butter pat plate, and a filled napkin holder. There are a few notes and envelopes stuck in for visual interest.

    10,457 paint chips.

A rasor knife and 25' tape measure.

An old electircal plate with about 10" of cable wire protruding from it.

A large plastic yellow drinking glass. Gotta have that water!

A paper towel. (For when I spill the water?)

Placemats, napkin holder, and S & P shakers. Now the breakfast table is a whole another matter. LOL

I got rid of the DR Furniture to create a sitting room with conjoined Kitchen Bar Area. Makes visiting easier.

    Holy cats!!

    What a question!

My desk and computer table are where the dining room table used to be.

Table in living room carries ex-'s miniature house, about 2' x 2'6" x 3', plus some bank and stockbroker reports, portable radio, sewing supplies, 2 lamps, TV remote and coin sorter, dead small coffee maker (empty bowl not removed from heating element quickly enough ... within a couple of weeks of purchase ... ggr-r-r!).

I eat on the kitchen table ... sugar bowl, powd. coffee, S & P, ground nuts and choc., spoons, pens, pencil, ruler, calculator, financial mag and several papers making a chart, toaster, catsup bottle, lamp, bacon grease, sage, dill, oregano & cinnamon, blender, milk bags, empty can, empty KFC box.

    All that on a table 33" x 29" ... imagine!

Not about to eat on it during the next while, it looks like!

For those with no dining table ... and no kitchen table ...

    ... where do you eat?

Good wishes for just enough food to get along on ... but not enough to get fat on!

Price of food what it's getting to be ... one can hardly afford that, anyway.

3 vanilla candles of different heights on a pewter candle plate.

    On my kitchen table:

    Today's mail.
    Under that yesterday's mail.
Under that, mail from the day before.
    Etc.
