Will pressure cooking ruin a pastured pot roast?

It's snowing heavily so I don't want to go to the store...hence I need to make dinner with what I have. I know the pressure cooker is great for cheap tough cuts of meat, but if it's grass fed, will the pressure cooker overcook it? Or doesn't it matter?

Also (this is my first pressure cooker roast), does the liquid need to completely cover the roast? Do I need to brown the meat first? The only thing I use my pressure cooker for is making stock or older beans, and I would just hate to screw up what could be such a lovely roast.

I wish I had thought of this earlier, could have thrown it in the slow cooker, but DH will be demanding dinner in a couple of hours so time is of the essence :-)

Thanks for any help you guys can give me...

Joanna
