I am. I'm at work (in my home office) and have it on my monitor on live video stream so I can listen (and peek) as I work.

I am Jel, my best buddy kitty Bob and I have been up watching since 415! I thought that the obvious love held for the Queen was lovely and so touching. And the pomp and circumstance is somehow comforting to me, we seem to live in such a casual society, I really loved seeing the elegance.

well live cam to what? there are thousands of live cams, to zoos, to Africa wildlife, to beaches, to New Orleans, you name it there are cams to watch. If you can be specific I can try to find some. I love to watch the ones at the beaches like Hawaii and just imagine I am there LOL! there are sites like this one that will list several different cams you can look at, be careful when searching for live cams however or you may find yourself in some questionable areas with live cams of the human animal variety! I'm an anglophile, so I am interested. I'll be happy seeing the TV news AFTER the event. (Much nicer than having to arrive at the Abbey at 8 a.m. for an 11 a.m. service; seriously, that's in the schedule.) I'm interested to see that the Middleton family has taken over The Goring Hotel. The bride will be sleeping there tonight. DH, DS and I stayed there before a Baltic cruise a LONG time ago. DS was intrigued with the very elaborate bathrooms, and his little room under the eaves overlooked the hotel's large private garden. The palace is just 'round the corner. One of the best trips we ever took was driving around the counties outside of London, staying in self-catering places. I've loved England since touring when I was 14.

I'm sure I read somewhere, a long time ago, prior to Charles and Diana being married, that virginity was a requirement. The purpose of this requirement was so that there wouldn't be any possibility of potential embarrassment later on - no one would be able to come out with any wild stories, etc. Since William and Kate have been together for so long, I'm sure the Royals have thoroughly vetted her by now.

Here is the recipe for scones that I used. It comes from a National Trust Traditional British Recipes book I bought from the BBC.. Measurements have been converted to US. (Only to be eaten with a large hat on, a cup of tea, and listening to the English national anthem of course.) Scones: 1 cup flour 1 tsp baking powder One half stick butter (I used low fat) One half cup brown sugar One half cup raisins 1 egg One quarter cup milk (again, low fat is fine) Milk to brush the tops Preheat oven 450. In large mixing bowl, sift flour and baking powder and gently combine. Rub in diced butter w finger tips until like breadcrumbs. Add sugar and raisins and combine evenly. Make well in center of mix and slowly add milk and egg (already mixed together) Stir mix w fork to make smooth dough. Knead slightly to make ball and put on floured surface. Roll to about 1 inch thickness and cut into circles w cookie cutter etc. Put on greased baking tray; brush w milk. Bake 15 mins. Also works if you add nuts, cranberries etcÃ¯Â¿Â½ (but less English that way!) Serve warmed up and cut in half, with butter then dollop of strawberry jam, and some type of whipped cream on top. Yum. Oh, and DH is a fully trained professional Dignitary Protection person... It's like having my own body guard. :-)

I had my alarm set for 4am, it didn't go off; but I awoke suddenly at 4:09am. When Kate came from the hotel and got into the car, I got all emotional and started to cry! What's up with that? ha. Maybe because there's been so much tragedy and heartache in the news, it was just so wonderful to see something joyous.

Yes I got up at 5 this morning ,let the dogs out ,made a pot of coffee,it started,beautiful every girls dream tobe a princess...
The queen doesnt do anything she dont want to does she?She didnt sing,smile..
Prince Charles didnt do alot for his wife,going up the stairs etc he didnt help her.Is he tired of her??No comparison to lady di is she???
Well this is 1 girl who wont have a care in the world for a bit huh?

I have it on. I didn't get up until 6:30 AM, central time, and turned it on to watch while having my coffee. So far I've only seen a couple shots of Kate's dress, and oh, how beautiful, classy and regal she looked.

Yes...it was lovely. Kate looked beautiful. I loved how the 3 year old bridesmaids held hands with the Maid of Honor during the procession.

I didn't realize when it was, turned on the tv this morning before going to work, while I had my breakfast. It was on and they were just getting married. Now I'm watching it again, from the beginning because there isn't anything else on.

I'm watching it again now from my DVD (taped). Although, I really should go to bed. I've been up since 2:45 am CDT and it is now 11:48 CDT. I'm ehausted.

I've seen it 3 or 4 times. We turned it on the first thing this morning. My dd is loving it. It's been a bit of a history lesson for us today. I've had to google the answers to several questions.

Bulldinkie, the only time I saw them show the queen during singing was when everyone was singing "God Save the Queen," and she wouldn't sing during that!

As for Diana vs Camilla, Diana was glamorous and did lots of good, but Prince Charles looks much happier with Camilla to me. I guess when you've been in love with someone for almost 40 years and finally get to be together, it must be nice.

I felt bad for everyone in the Charles/Diana split.
