I am. I'm at work (in my home office) and have it on my monitor on live video stream so I can listen (and peek) as I work.

I am Jel, my best buddy kitty Bob and I have been up watching since 415! I thought that the obvious love held for the Queen was lovely and so touching. And the pomp and circumstance is somehow comforting to me, we seem to live in such a casual society, I really loved seeing the elegance.

I'm an anglophile, so I am interested. I'll be happy seeing the TV news AFTER the event. (Much nicer than having to arrive at the Abbey at 8 a.m. for an 11 a.m. service; seriously, that's in the schedule.) I'm interested to see that the Middleton family has taken over The Goring Hotel. The bride will be sleeping there tonight. DH, DS and I stayed there before a Baltic cruise a LONG time ago. DS was intrigued with the very elaborate bathrooms, and his little room under the eaves overlooked the hotel's large private garden. The palace is just 'round the corner. One of the best trips we ever took was driving around the counties outside of London, staying in self-catering places. I've loved England since touring when I was 14.

I think Albert's sisters look how a friend would describe them using a cowboy phrase about the lack of proper care for a horse --Rode hard and put up wet. They look hard and much older than they are. The news from Nice was that Charlene bolted last week when she learned of two more illegitimate children, one born to the mother of another of his children --and this occurred their romace/relationship. He is supposed to be taking paternity tests after the wedding. Authorities confiscated Charlene's passport and would not let her leave. This situation reminds me also of the story Diana told of her march down the aisle to wed Charles. She knew that he had continued his affair with the married Camilla during their "courtship" and that he had spent the night before the wedding with her. Diana related that she was checking out the guests in the cathedral as she walked down the aisle to see if Camilla was there, and she was. Diana too had her moments during the wedding where she looked quite sad. I think both Diana and Charlene shared the same wedding day misery--unfaithful grooms.

Tornado watch in my area right now

Last night, I missed most of 60 Minutes and nearly all of Madame Secretary, due to tornado alerts for a remote part of my viewing area. The entire thing might have been an infomercial for the latest weather forecast/tracing technology. They have a fortune in new "toys" and just wanted to show them off. How many times does one need to SEE what is happening with a storm? Is not just telling people to take shelter enough? And do they actually have a TV in their "safe place" or will they just stay where it is dangerous, so they can hear and see yet more about the approaching storm? It was infuriating! I grew up in KS and spent many a spring night, under my father's big, heavy workbench in the SW corner of my basement. I take tornados very seriously. But come on - we have sirens for this in most places. One hears the sirens, one heads to the basement or other safe place. Having the weather person on TV talk about it and show it from 40 different angles for 45 minutes, does not make me "safer". Grrrr.....

I thought it was just lovely! Everything! Her dress was perfection, gorgeous natural make up, adoring, handsome groom, proud mama, flowers for days, glorious sunny day...and Bishop Curry!! They keep saying he is from Chicago...but he lives in NC and before becoming the head of the entire Episcopal church in the US, he was the bishop for NC!! He confirmed my son! We LOVED every time he visited our parish...all his sermons are that exciting. You never get sleepy when he preaches! :) Honestly, the only thing I didn’t care for were the black Page boy outfits...seemed a harsh color for children. But that’s it! Loved everything else!

I had my alarm set for 4am, it didn't go off; but I awoke suddenly at 4:09am. When Kate came from the hotel and got into the car, I got all emotional and started to cry! What's up with that? ha. Maybe because there's been so much tragedy and heartache in the news, it was just so wonderful to see something joyous.

Yes I got up at 5 this morning ,let the dogs out ,made a pot of coffee,it started,beautiful every girls dream tobe a princess...
The queen doesnt do anything she dont want to does she?She didnt sing,smile..
Prince Charles didnt do alot for his wife,going up the stairs etc he didnt help her.Is he tired of her??No comparison to lady di is she???
Well this is 1 girl who wont have a care in the world for a bit huh?

I have it on. I didn't get up until 6:30 AM, central time, and turned it on to watch while having my coffee. So far I've only seen a couple shots of Kate's dress, and oh, how beautiful, classy and regal she looked.

Yes...it was lovely. Kate looked beautiful. I loved how the 3 year old bridesmaids held hands with the Maid of Honor during the procession.

I didn't realize when it was, turned on the tv this morning before going to work, while I had my breakfast. It was on and they were just getting married. Now I'm watching it again, from the beginning because there isn't anything else on.

I'm watching it again now from my DVD (taped). Although, I really should go to bed. I've been up since 2:45 am CDT and it is now 11:48 CDT. I'm ehausted.

I've seen it 3 or 4 times. We turned it on the first thing this morning. My dd is loving it. It's been a bit of a history lesson for us today. I've had to google the answers to several questions.

Bulldinkie, the only time I saw them show the queen during singing was when everyone was singing "God Save the Queen," and she wouldn't sing during that!

As for Diana vs Camilla, Diana was glamorous and did lots of good, but Prince Charles looks much happier with Camilla to me. I guess when you've been in love with someone for almost 40 years and finally get to be together, it must be nice.

I felt bad for everyone in the Charles/Diana split.
