Teresa NC - Thanks for the spices!

Teresa, you must be a mind reader. I just ran out of Penzeys Mural of Flavor. It's one of my favorites, and I had it on a list of things to order. Of course, I'll use the lamb seasoning often. Now I have a good excuse for buying lamb chops. I'll keep the Sunny Spain on the table for those dishes that need a special oomph. Thanks for remembering my husband's salt restriction.

I was wondering what to fix for dinner. Thanks to the G3 sauce your nephew created, I'll thaw a couple of beef tenderloin steaks. We'll just somehow have to make do with filets.

Anyhow, your thoughtfulness is appreciated. Thanks again.

Isn't Teresa a sweetheart? It was a pleasure to meet her "for real" at the Philadelphia get-together. She gifted me with some of the G3 sauce, too.

Yes, I did fussy cut most of the flowers - the ones that look the best. The dark pink poppies and the yellow tulips nearest the water were done by the individual flower. They were fused on then sewed down with a very small stippling stitch using monofilament thread. The stems and leaves were done with a triple stitch and 12 wt. thread on my Viking machine. Here are the blocks that I have received so far, plus several that I have made to add to the total needed to make my bed quilt. I might make a scrappy border of Delectable Mountains blocks using all the blues that I have, with more blues to be purchased. Thanks to all the members of my Patchwork Pines group that made these beautiful blocks. Several sent me two blocks and others sent along extra fabric. Jessy, I have a hard time being shameless, but I'll give it a try. Here are a couple ideas: 1) Silicone egg poachers. I'm no good at poaching eggs all on their own, so I thought I'd give the little silcone thingys a try. 2) Whole wheat orzo. I fix orzo all the time but wanted to try a whole wheat version. I can't find it at any of the groceries or even health food stores in my area. 3) Chutney. We both love chutney as an accompaniement to all kinds of things, especially if it has a bit of heat to it.

OK, that's it. I can't think of anything more right now. Was that shameless enough?
