Oh boy, thanks everyone!! This was such a wonderful sight to see after the week I've had. My DH has pneumonia (just found out today), and he's been so sick since last Thursday. Thankfully, I think he's starting to mend, so all of us here at Lack-Land are starting to feel better:-) Unfortunately, we didn't do anything for my birthday, because Jon has been so ill, but I think I qualify for a re-do, so as soon as he's feeling better, we will have a heck of a birthday celebration! I want an ice cream cake in the worst way, I've been craving one all week. Thanks to all of you for your birthday wishes, they mean so much! Kathleen, my younger son Ben said "look at that cupcake, do you think she's really mailing it to us"? It's beautiful! I love the hydrangeas! DONNA

Annie, I can't be that evil, it just doesn't come naturally:-) Hey Kathleen, you coming up for air after partying with the Monsignor? How's the humidity in Lawng Island? May, it was such a lovely birthday, I was so sorry when the day was over. The boys were on their best behavior, and everyone pretended I was a Queen for the day. Sol, I do love fudge, but I think my day may have actually been better than the best fudge! Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes, you're the best. Had to take DH to his eye Dr. appointment in Springfield yesterday, a 200 mi. round trip in the rain. :( The temps had dropped and both of us came home cold and had to turn the heat on after having days with all windows open. Stopped by a local Chinese restaurant and got takeout to bring home to eat. DD and her DH are taking me and DH to eat Friday night for my birthday. Had birthday money given to me so while in Springfield bought a few plants to try and brighten up the yard a tad. So, my day was a good one I thought, even if I was chilly all day.
