Any pic in particular catch your fancy from the PB catalog? They list the colors used in the catalog & on their website they have a nice paint tool. The BM site also lists the PB colors since they make them & you can try them out in their interactive personal color viewer (you don't have to sign up). DS1 just saw a bedroom in the last William Sonoma Home catalog that her really liked w/ a nautical theme. The top 1/2 of the walls were done in a navy linen like effect & the rest was white.

OK. I'm always hesitant to post shots of my house, because it's so difficult to photograph such small spaces without it looking like Barbie's Palace of Clutter -- but I know how hard it is to get images of what paint colors really look like. The dining room is Hubbard Squash on top, BM Affinity Buttered Yam on bottom (the Roycroft Adobe was too burgundy-colored); looking into the living room which is Roycroft Vellum. (For some reason the Hubbard Squash always looks peachy in photos, it really isn't.) My study when it was Morris Room Green, looking into White Hyacinth hallway: My study freshly painted in Buckram Binding, not sure what I think of it in there yet (I live in terror of 1950's chalky peachy off-white), but it makes the room twice as big and blends very well with the other off-whites: Kitchen in Antique Yellow (very similar to your Bungalow Gold) looking into breakfast room in White Hyacinth. I know my trim is lighter than yours (we had to strip everything of 10 layers of paint and re-shellac), but perhaps this helps just a bit.

I agree i could make my life easier if i find a wood similar to the tile (pic1) for upstairs but it doesn't feel right for the bedroom... i kind of regret picking it but it's too late. just wondering if there's a way to make the light coloured wood work upstairs without too much disconnect between the stairs... I'll most likely shop for the same wood as seen in the tiles to make the flow smoother if what i want to do is too disjointed. is black treads still the best option now the kitchen panel is clearer? appreciate your advice! I'm kind of stressing about my dumb decisions thus far. Thanks in advance. my only concern is changing the treads to the same look as the tiles will be too challenging or expensive- that's why i considered painting. A few weeks ago i was trying to get the stairs company to use different wood that we select but they only use theirs and charge 3k more which i found excessive and their product range was awful. Have to use that stairs company because of the building contract:/

This is a pic of the space, please ignore the make shift table in the center and cabinet to the left, its my workable cooking/prep space during construction. This is the view when you walk into my dinning room and the opening into the kitchen(kitchen reno still going on). On the far back wall by the sliders is the color gray we painted I don't have a pic of the soft green we had and would be reusing in the dinning room.
