Very pretty tile and wainscoting. Have you seen my bath with the Yorkshire tan? In case you haven't. All the trim is just white, nothing fancy.

Looks beautiful. What is the trim white? Is it BM? If yes, is it decorators white or ultra white? or does BM have a white called 'just white'? Thanks

What are you wanting...a neutral or a "grab you" color? I just used SW softer tan with the color kicked up to 150 tint--I used in my small BR that is our office--I like it a lot. It looks very good with white trim & is very neutral--it deosn;t look yellow or pinkish in my light.

On my monitor, your tiles appear to have caramel colored swirls. If that's so, SW Nomadic Desert or Latte might blend very well with the tile. It's one of SW's most popular color strips. My den is Latte with SW Extra White Semi-Gloss trim and I really like it. If you like a softer color for trim, SW Dover White or Alabaster would compliment the caramel colors.

If your tiles are more golden colored, then I like the tan pictured above in the bathroom.

If you want a contrasting look rather than a monochromatic one, a sage green (SW Clary Sage, e.g.) might be a nice choice.

SW has $5 sample pints. Worth the money if you're not sure what you want.

What a pretty room - I love the big windows and wainscoating. I do love brutuses' Yorkshire Tan in her bathroom and think that would be a good choice if you want a tan color.

Your floor seems to have the same tone as the ivory travertine in my powder room, and if you're interested in a warm green color then BM Baby Turtle might be a good choice. I used it on the walls and think it complements the floor nicely. It's a great color - you can see in some light it looks almost tan. My trim will be Antique White but a brighter white would look very nice.

Is your Yorkshire tan Flat or egg shell? The finish/workmanship is outstanding.

Randita: You are right. It does have caramel swirl. I want to use BM Auro and I see that Benjamin Moore Classic Color SIERRA HILLS (1053) in Aura Paint is equivalent to the nomadic desert you indicated.

Your floor tile looks similar to what I had in my previous rental house. I painted the kitchen and dining room walls with Ellen Kennon's color called Taupe. I used the Ultra Eggshell finish. Her paint is more expensive (actually it is from Dulux but you need to place the order via her web site or by calling Ellen) but the quality is fantastic. It's full spectrum paint which means it has perhaps 8 pigment colors rather than the usual 3 pigment colors. To me it was worth the extra money.

Could you please tell me the name, brand, or place you purchased your tile?
