We have the same or very similar brick and our trim is a dark chocolate brown and our front door is dark stained solid oak. Our garage doors are chocolate brown vinyl so we feel like we can't change the color of the trim.
I think an earthy green sounds nice too.

I like the first four greens and would consider doing one of them for the trim and another for the door. I think red could be very tricky with the brick.

On the landscaping, you have a great space for a pair of trellises or espaliered plants on the right. That could add a lot of texture, interest and color, depending on what you chose.

I think the trim at one point was a chocolate brown, because I can see remnants of it on the brick in a few places.

We think we do want a color that's not brown/beige/tan/white -unless that becomes the best option, because we've always lived with those colors in former houses, and just feel like the exterior could be turned up a notch with something different.

For a red door, I was thinking a deep cranberry color. DH still wants something brighter. I'm afraid that the brick, roof, and surroundings can't support a bright color.

I like the dark trim you have up against the brick, though I can't see what color you have. It occurs to me that something like Hale Navy might work.
