Need a khaki tan paint for master bedroom

I am having the hardest time with choosing a paint color- I am looking for a warm khaki tan for the master bedroom to go with my new bedding. I usually use Benjamin Moore or Behr paint. I've been looking through this site at tans and beiges and getting myself more and more confused! Any suggestions? Here's the bedding too- I posted once before but thought I needed gold at that point!

You could try BM Crisp Khaki.

Take a sham with you to a paint store and start comparing chips to the colors of your bedding. It's much easier to see what compliments your bedding if you bring it with you to the paint store. Then of course you have to see what the paint samples look like in your bedroom lighting. Nice bedding!

Thank you so much Cherri for you sweet compliments! I wish you the best finding the perfect paint for your house....I played it safe also when building 6 yrs. ago and went with Ivorie thru out the downstairs public rooms and bedroom bath. Later changed the DR to restrained gold and the bedroom to mannered gold. then just this past Oct. changed the LR to raspberry red. I think you get more comfortable in your home the longer you are there and are willing to take more risks. Now I wish I had painted Mannered gold in the FR which is a 22 ft. ceiling room...ha! The Ivorie is staying for now until DH decides to hire a painter....LOL! But go for it if you are building....once blinds are up, furniture is in , pictures and art are hung.....the paint colors tone down. I especially love the mannered gold. It made the tones in our bedroom furniture seem much richer. I left the bathroom Ivorie since gold isn't my color in clothing shades and was afraid it might make us look sallow or jaundiced in the bathroom. We had thought of wallpapering it buy life gets in the way sometimes and projects get put on hold. But the deeper shades on that paint strip, restrained gold & mannered gold are very pretty colors. Interestingly I have similar colors in my master br. My curtains are a goldish brown and my bed skirt is a similar green to yours. I was going through paint the tray ceiling a green to match (walls will be a medium light turquoise green). I looked up one night and realized I wanted a comfortable feeling when I wake up. I decided to change it to a lighter shade of the walls. The bedspread and accents pick up enough of the gold and green that it should look fine!! A few people on the Home Decorating forum have used Sea Salt. You might want to post this on that forum and get their opinions. If you want to paint the bathroom a coordinating shade, SW suggests SW6203, Spare White, according to their website: Sea Salt

I'm glad you changed your mind about the SW blue if that's the sample on the wall--Too dark and unnatural imo. Are you staging for sale? Then I'd go for a less obtrusive color; maybe a very pale grey or off white, even just white for that matter.

In the new Pottery Barn paint swatch book for Summer, I like Benjamin Moore's Hush. For a little more leaning to warmer gold while still being tan, perhaps Rattan?

Sherwood Tan from BM is like melted coffee (latte, rather) ice cream.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm going to look at all of them! I did bring a sham- and there were so many shades that I thought I'd ask for help to narrow it down! I'm going to try to paint some sample posterboards and hold them up in all lights.

I just replied in another tan topic and I highly recommend SW Bagel. BM will mix it up for you. It's very similar to the picture you posted. No undertones.

In my last house I used alot of beige - I used SW Wind Drift Beige - 1 coat it looks pink - but with the 2nd coat it was fine.

Have you thought about painting the room a soft green? I hd a tropical look, my furniture was a light washed/glazed look, woodwork was SW designer white and beige (creamy) carpet,when I changed from beige walls to green, I really liked the look..

I just painted my hearth room Berkshire Beige by Benjamin Moore... it's a beige with a green undertone which I think would look nice with the greens in your bedding.

Ooh I like that Berkshire Beige- I do need to look at that! That's the shade I was leaning toward, I don't think I'd seen it! I've thought about green or coral- right now the bathroom's green,and if I do the bedroom in that (it would be a different shade) then I'd have to redo the bathroom (which is no big deal.)I have another dark peach bedroom, so was leaning towards tan- or maybe a green. Thanks for the suggestions!

Ben Moore 1101 Fennel Seed. It does not look so great on the chip, but it is worth painting a sample. Linen White is a good trim color with it.
