Don't have a name for it but I enjoy vodka,Seven-up and a splash of sour mix....really refreshing!

I like an Old Fashioned when we go out. Not too sweet but not knock-you-over boozie taste. I think they're pretty darned good (I like bitters).

Beer margaritas, Kahlua with coffee, Strawberry Daquiri...used to drink a lot of Tequila Sunrises. These days I prefer a cold beer over any mixed drink.

I used to order one or two Manhattans when eating out. Those are so good. Not too sweet, but oh so powerful, cause its almost all booze. A little story:
When I was waitressing in a supperclub years ago, an elderly couple were celebrating an annivarsay. After their dinner, I asked if they would like an after dinner drink. She said she would, but didn't know what to order. She said she wanted something kind of sweet, and what did I recommend. I said there was one drink that was good, it was creamy, and chocolate cherry tasting, but the name was sort of "naughty" she asked what the name was and I said it was called an Orgasm. With out a second of time, she said Oh I'll have one of those.
DH can't drive anymore. so on the rare occasion we do go out, I'm the driver, so my Manhattan days are over, Sigh! Dottie

I used to love vodka gimlets until I almost expired on them. LOL I'm probabaly healed enough now, I should try them again. I think that was back in the 70's. LOL

Used to enjoy CC and 7's in the 80's. Then switched to vodka & tonic with a twist in the 90's. Now, I'm pretty happy with just a glass of Cabernet or Shiraz.

It tastes like chocolate milk sorta.

Its almost sweet so Glenda you might not like it. I always use half and half instead of milk, but this is the closest I found.

If you like a White Russian you may really like a Colorado Bulldog. The only difference being that in this recipe you top with equal amount of cream and cola instead of cream alone. It really adds a nice touch that mixes up a routine of Russians.
INGREDIENTS:
1 oz vodka
1 oz coffee liqueur
cream or milk
cola
PREPARATION:
Pour the vodka and coffee liqueur in an old-fashioned glass filled with ice.
Fill with equal amounts of milk or cream and cola.
Shake by placing a mixing tin over the glass and giving it one or two good shakes.

Colorado Bulldog is Kahlua, Vodka & milk with a splash of coke. Shake and pour over ice.
Dot, my Mom loves Manhattans. Her limit is 2. I always drive, so I'll usually just have a white wine.

Well I have many but I drink mostly beer because it is easy and cheap. lol

I do like pommegranate martinis, margaritas, bloody marys, captain morgan and diet, malibu and pineapple and a vodka tonic.

Can't really drink wine, but every so often I like Piesporter ( a very drinkable Reisling).

When out 'socializing & dancing'-I only drink Canadian Club with lots of ice and a tsp of ginger ale (just enough to cut the sting :-) When out for a nice dinner on occasion,I will order one dry martini with 3 olives! The only other thing sometimes I enjoy, is an Irish Coffee after dinner in a restaurant.

Ohhhhhhhh, Madras is one I surely will order! Sounds right up my alley!

Vodka tonic (with lime) if I want something fizzy, Vodka and tomato juice (with lemon or lime) if I don't. NOT a bloody mary, and no mix or clamato please LOL. If the place knows how to do it right, a dirty double vodka martini (that would be cold vodka in a glass with a splash of olive brine) with a pickle spear in it.

In the summer when it was really hot, every once in a while I would enjoy a mixture of tomato juice and beer (I can't remember what it is called). I don't like the taste of beer otherwise.

For a sweet drink I like creamsicles (orange juice, vanilla ice cream and vodka plus we put in some white chocolate liqueur).

But I am not allowed to drink anymore because of my medications. Darn it!

My standby for years has been a screwdriver, mainly because I didn't know what else to order. But when you work with the group I did and travel, I picked up a couple others.

I like madras also. Mexican madras I guess is with tequila.
Capecodder vodka, cranberry juice and lime juice.
Seabreeze-vodka, cranberry juice and grapefruit juice.

Amaretta sours are good. But one sour drink is enough for me.

I guess I like fruit juice. Although, in the summertime, there's nothing like a gin and tonic or tom collins.

I hate beer.

Lots of Margarita drinkers here.
Glenda, I've never had a sweet margarita. They're made with lime juice and orange flavored liquor (Controy or Triple Sec). I also use Tonic Water in mine, as it gives it a little fizz. Always with salt on the rim, over ice, for me too.

I'm a vodka, lime & lemonade girl (NZ lemonade = sprite) I have to have the lime so I can't taste the alchohol!

On a REALLY hot day I enjoy a shandy if DH is having a cold beer after work....YUM!

Umm...let's see: I like margaritas, frozen or on the rocks, amaretto sours, screwdrivers, White Russians, Pina Coladas, some wine coolers. I'm not a beer drinker. Wish I was, it's cheap and easy! LOL

pretty much only drink margarita's and on the rocks and only made w/ Sauza Tres' Generacciones tequila. fairly rare find in restaurants, occassionally in bars, i have friends bring it from mexico for me as it's also expensive and hard to find. when i bought my house it was christened and toasted w/ several well aged bottles LOL that's how much i adore this stuff :-) ~ liz

did have a sip of dd2's new "signature" drink at dh's 60th..she uses champagne, a tiny dollup of raspberry sherbert, and fresh strawberrys. she serves it with dessert.

I would have to say Amarula (no, not amaretto!) and a little half & half cream.

A dirty Vodka Martini up with lots of olives! Two is all I can handle! LOL
