Just for Fun--Cookbook Question

Just wondering.

what is the oldest cookbook in your collection?

I know I should have an answer, since I'm the one answering, but I've already moved all my cookbooks to the 'new' house and am at the 'old' one today. Know that it's a very old cookbook from the early 1900's. Besides recipes, it's got chapters on such important household skills as 'dealing with servants'. It was in bad shape when it came into my hands, and I had a bookbinder rebind it. But I cannot for the life of me recall the name (a woman's name, and no--it's not a Fanny Farmer). Don't know that I've ever actually made anything from it, but it's an interesting read.

Also have a modern reprint of a housewife's 'receipts' from Shakespeare's time. The recipes are old, but the book isn't. Another fascinating one to read.
