Actually the compition they had on the island tonight would have been VERY difficult for Russell to win. That is one challenge in which a short person would have a definate disadvantage.

I hope Matt can beat him and send him home.

It was very interesting to see how the voting went tonight. I was so glad to see (I don't know her name yet) the older woman didn't fall for Russell and the little snip.

When Phillip has confidence in the leader, he seems to be willing to be a follower. That could be some strength in that tribe.

One of the best Survivor episodes I can recall. Maybe just seeing Russell's (can't anyone on the tribe spell his name right?) flame get snuffed was such a joy that I can't recall any episode more fun to watch!

The little maggot got his. He is so despicable, and he looks like he smells. I hope Matt beats the pants off him. How do you think the vote went?

I loved Russell his first two times but I'm tired of him. He can go now. I like the young kid. I liked Francesca too and loved her good sportsmanship with Matt. Never was a big Rob fan anyway and I really want him off my screen too. I mean how many chances does the guy get? They continue to build him up and he continues to bomb. Even lost AR when it was practically customized for him to do well at all the tasks.

I LOVED tonight's episode! Now if Matt can beat Russell (they misspell names on purpose sometimes so the person can't tell who voted for them) that'd be better...or even if he can't wouldn't it be great if Russell lasted until Rob got there, then Rob beat him...then someone beat Rob!!! Okay just dreams!!! But I loved how Russell was blindsided. Don't know if Ralph will go far, but to see him whom Russell hates right now, beat Russell at his own game...yup that's great!

I think Ralph is alot better player than Russell. After all, he has the immunity idol and he hasn't told anyone (that we know of, he's a strong physical player, and he actually gets along with the others. He's someone who could win it all!

It was a great episode. I wish they would show the votes at the end of the show, as they have in previous seasons.

I hope Rob goes soon too.......I agree with Wildchild.......how many times do these losers get.......Rob and wife have a million so lets give the money to someone else.....someone who needs it. Russell ..ho hum been there done that, I hope the kid beats him and sends him home.

I really thought the older woman/firefighter was going to swing her vote to Russell. They sure made it look that way. Time for him to go. And Rob. I don't like Ralph, especially with his shirt off, hahaha. Gag. The boy that's an Iraq War Vet would be wise to keep that to himself, because if people know they will vote him out because I think a load of people would vote for him at the end. He seems like a nice guy.

And whoever that little snit is with the dark hair defending Russell, she just hanged herself. When oh when will contestants learn from previous shows, keep your mouth SHUT! It's like they can't help themselves.

Does anyone know just when a player winning a duel gets returned to the game instead of having to wait for yet another voted out player to arrive? From the things I've read online, it seems like it could be several times during the season.

I can understand them badly wanting to get Russell out of there, but I don't think I would have deliberately thrown the challenge.

My guess would be when the tribes start getting unbalanced then they will send the winner from RI back, maybe it won't be to his/her original tribe but the other one.

I noticed that Jeff didn't ask "if anyone has the immunity idol"..on the first vote sequence..and then on the second..my husband who HATES Survivor but has been watching this season with me said on the second vote start..."he didn't ask about the immunity idol tonight.."

Wanda...I agree with you..and Kat...and I too don't like Redemption Island. I dvr this show because if I don't like what I see I fast forward it.

I think Survivor is scripted...and as far as Rob...he is not going to win and knows it. He and Russell were put on the show for manipulation and make the show interesting.... It is so predicted except the games...Anything Mark Burkitt does is scripted....
