Best Polyurethane for hardwood floor- xpost

Hello-

This question also appears in the flooring forum.

As part of my small bathroom update I need to refresh the finish on my hardwood floor. I used goof off in a few spots and it removed the finish in those areas. Additionally this is for a bathroom that will soon be used daily by my son for showers and baths. I need the finish to be really solid becaue he is not the tidiest.

Any recommendations for a polyurethane that can be used as part of a screening process. (Screening is when you scuff up the existing coating on the floor, but don't sand and remove it completely). Ace hardware carries Deft brand, which is what I purchased last night but afterwards I got to wondering whether there might be another brand that is a better choice.
