Years ago I belonged to a Bunko Club. We had so much fun, but several of us worked for the same company and they made us start working so much overtime that we weren't able to play. I sure hate that the club broke up. We all got along so well and had such a good time. I hope to belong to another club some day, but I'll bet it won't measure up to the first one.

Used to play where I used to live. I wish they had team or club around here.

I played with the same group for 11 years. It kind of all fell apart last year. Everyone was becoming grandma's and watched the kiddies on the weekends or was so tired we couldn't play past 10:00! Really THEY were getting old! LOL...we still all get together for dinner somewhere once a month. It was fun....but it got too hard to get subs every month.

I play monthly with the red hat group. We all chip in money, then it's divided up and there's a cash prize for most wins, most naturals, most losses.

msmarion, it's a mindless game of throwing 3 die, and trying to roll all three die on the current number. Such as, trying to roll all three showing ones, or twos, etc. If you do, then it's automatic Bunco and that game is over, Then you start again, trying to roll all threes, etc.. A point is given for every number that corresponds with the number for that round. Clear as mud??. You can find the answer by googling bunco.

Here at the senior center they play on the third Monday of the month. I go whenever I'm in town. Of course, I'm not quite old enough to be going to the senior center, but they invited me! I sure do enjoy the 2 hours with all the "girls" when I go.

I play monthly with my Red Hat group also. Like Foggy I think I call it mindless too. We play by different rules though. Only when the head table has a culmalative score of 21 not counting Buncos does that round end.

Played on Monday and won 16 dollars for having the last Bunco. We each put in $5 dollars and divie up six or seven ways at the end of the night.Last Bunco,first Bunco,high score,low score,most wins and most losses.

Like msmarion, I didn't know what bunko was. I thought it was a card game! *rolling eyes* Sounds like fun.

I love my bunko night! I have played in a group about 10 years and we have a blast.

I like Bunko also, the group I was in was clicky and I was odd person out. If I could have brought one of my GF's into it it would have been more fun. My DD's people are all from her neighborhood and everyone is new there so they are all pretty pally it is more fun that way.

We all put in 10bucks so maybe I will win big:)

Oh i love Bunko! But is it the bunko i love so much or the great group of women i play with? It must be the women! We rotate houses and the host provides the drinks(alcohol/non alcohol). The guest all bring a dish to pass. We socialize for the first hour. Before playing we all put $10 in a pot. The loser gets a "Boobie prize" of $20. The winner gets the rest. Its alot of fun!

My Mother had the same Bunko Group for 10 years. When my Daughter was a Teenager she made fun of Grandma's Game Bunko. Now my Daughter is 31 and in a Bunko Group.

I've played once as a Alternate, but I didn't want to commit to a Group.
